You are know at a point of enlightenment. I say not you have found a magic mushroom but now must identify it. You will have to check the erowid. And even then you could be in for stomach discomfort cause a certain beatle could have pukes on it. HAHA, you must learn. That is the only way. But while you are researching pop off the tiop nd put it gills down on a piece of paper. This will give you a spore print. This is how people get spores to study under a microscope to truely identify the species.

Heres the kicker. I have never tripped off a shroom. I tried some when i was in your shoes and kinda got food poisoning. Anyways i learned alot and thats one of them. Also u must know that there are big white one that can kill....that will kill you. Also there are alot that are very tasty....for real. And then for some reason there are some that make you trip. This is an area of drug education i feel u should be fiercly pursued by schools in the near future. W/ global warming...better conditions for mold in the muggy shade. Plus i believe that kids are doing real stupid dangerous shit like choking each other for a buzz. i can't see putting eating random unidentified mushrooms past these same people in a couple years or months.

That's A Beautiful Mushroom You Got There. It's A Rough Geuss But To Me That Looks Like It Might Be A Weird Psilocybe Weilii. It's Pretty Close. But You Can't Know For Sure.

What state do you live in? Try and take a spore print and see what color it is. From what I can tell so far it doesn't appear to be a magic mushroom.

Dear lord, don't eat it unless you are 100 percent certain.Psilocybes are supposed to stain blue when you rub them on something white, aren't they?Check out erowid or shroomery.org.
