I was told to order a cheap loupe/magnifying glass for trichomes near end of flower and I'm gonna order one off of ebay but I came across so many differnt ones lol.

What should I be looking for?
• what zoom should I go for, like x25, x45, x100?
•should it have a light on it?
Price range- $5-15

Let me know if I should get one of the pics I post?

The one I posted is 40x. That is plenty to see the trichomes clearly and still low enough power to not have to hold to perfectly still.

The eyepiece of the one I showed is much bigger than the one you posted. I can use it to see buds right on the plant. The led is real clear and I can move the plants out of the hps light and check them in the Grow room. Easy to see when the trichs get cloudy. Or colored.

I have tried a few loupes and scopes and I suggested the one I like best. I harvest a plant every 10 days or so perpetually for years now.

I'll order the one you suggest

I notice all the time when looking at trichomes, and I know what to do but it still messes me up. The trichome will be a little to far to the right, so I move right and it disapears.... lol

I get it. It's a learning curve. But I swear I was not sure and had to check. But you are right. When I think about it now I have panned the wrong way on a leaf I was checking. :-)

So you gotta move the opposite way of where you wanna look? So left is right and right is left?
