what to get?

so now im at the learning curve of nute's i haven't really used them i messed around a bit and now understand measuring ur ppm/ec and ur ph lvl's...well now my plants are having signs of nitrogen problems and nute burn n ph problems as seedlings so i transplanted into fox farm ocean forest they have been in their for more than a week now still in veg state using clean ph balanced water but still being taking over by nitrogen problems so i was thinking of ordering some nutes this is what im thinking of getting and slowing introducing some nutes to it but im not sure how long till i should add due to the fox farm is fresh im not sure if it would burn it or not like i said still new ^^

You're in soil. Why would you choose hydro nutrients? Jack's Classic is often used (inexpensive, simple). I would lean more toward organics. What I use is in my sig. It costs about $1 per plant, per grow, but more organic.

If you're unsure what to do, I'm using MiracleGro Tomato right now and it's working well. $6 at Home Depot. About 30 cents per plant, per grow. Use 3g/gal (300ppm).

thanks for input ill have to try the tomato plant food sometime...i ended up getting advance nutes like abundle pack that included big bud overdrive b-52 and voodoo juice i hope this should do for now thanks again ^^

With Ocean Forest you should not need to feed anything but PHd water a base ppm of around 100-200ppm for trace minerals like calcium, magnesium ect. That soil is pretty hot and i had burn issues feeding even after 4 week of veg. Pics help a lot to aid in hepling you with your issue.

I like to use a simple two part organic base nutrient. I have had good sucess with iguana grow and iguana bloom in fox farm soil like you are using. The ratios are mild...... iguana grow is 3-1-3 and the bloom 4-3-6. I havent had any issues with burn, although I start at 1/4 strength and work my way up to 3/4. I dont see the point going full strength but I bet they could handle it still without burning at these softer ratios.

For a good beginner nute GH Micro and Bloom is cheap, simple and effective so is their powder nute Maxbloom. I am trying an all in 1 nute from Hydroponics Research on my new batch of plants.
