I agree with avoiding the stores so u can't b followed by the cops or rippers..that's makes it too easy for them. Whether it was cops, rippers, or a combo...just b glad u weren't home when the bullshit went down. I wouldn't sweat the tv when there was so much more that could have gone wrong.

I think you were ripped and the sooner you move the better. That you live in an apt is a problem because people can enter your place without permission e.g. pest control and plumbers not to mention the landlord or manager.

I'm not in jail but I thank you for that positive vibe there I haven't had access to internet for awhile and i just checked in I thank everyone who responded who actually had a real opinion instead of the assholes trying to show how witty they can be(I never knew something that can happen to everyone up here no matter how safe and cautious you are especially if you live in the USA was so comical)and to quote one dick the warrant I was "patiently"waitng for never came I've been checking online because as one person suggested I no longer live there and i won't be going back and to answer another question I have asked the neighbors next door the last time I was there they said they pulled up in a big white van and ran in they also said they saw them take bags of what he was sure was weed cause he could smell it from my downstairs neighbors house and they also arrested him so yeah that would lead me to believe they were actual police.Oh and like one person stated they have to secure my apartment when they leave and they did they used a battering RAM to get through my front door you could see the circular dent right beside the deadbolt,tore my place up took my stuff and tv,left the warrant were my tv USED to be then they nailed my front door shut because there was no way to lock it and they left out the back door so there is no way a neighbor broke in I believe I just got pulled into the guy downstairs mess cause from what I heard they took out of his house put my little ones to shame they got who they really wanted which is why I guess they took the tv too as another person said cops are thieves too they took it as payment for not arresting my ass but really after talking to my lawyer all they pretty much would have been able to charge me with is possession unless they could prove it wasn't for personal use which they couldn't and with it being my first offense probation,a nice fine,drug treatment classes,and community service is about all I would have got so I guess I wasn't worth their time.Well I'm through for the rest of this year,get situated in a new place looking for a house this time i was going to try and find one next year but now is as good as time as any thanks again to everyone,stay safe.

Although most of this was terrible run on sentences, I powered through. Well it just sounds like a shit storm. Lol cops take tv for "payment" of not busting you? Did your lawyer give you that idea?

This is just such an odd story now as it unfolds...I don't know what to make of it. Well either way hope all turns out well.

This whole thread has provided endless lulz. I am not one to laugh at the misfortune of people getting busted, but this whole saga with the lack of specific details without specific questions and the stolen TV factor just sounds like one big clusterfuck or a social discussion-board experiment. I have had dreams less odd than how this has played out.

If u had plants in your house and the cops found them you will be charged. Maybe not today or tomorrow but when the lab reports come in you will have a warrant. They don't let that go. Trust me they aren't done taking your money yet. Make sure you retain that lawyer and save up for your bail.

i would not normally poke fun of someone in your position but seriously, you can't be this dumb... you can't figure out if you got jacked or robbed, you don't know if cops might have taken your tv (funny in itself), your not smart enough to go about finding out what actually happened and apparently neither is your "lawyer". and then you come on here and post how dumb you are for the whole world to point out. you can't be mad at us for that...

my new conclusion is your neighbors have actually spoken to you b4, knew your schedule, and decided you were an easy target.

well since it's the only one in town undercover's could be waiting around the shop? the shop could be associated with them. undercovers could be tightly packed within the area. theoretically, maybe your looks gave away your secretive hobby.

Actually my cuz just got raided a few months ago and they took all of his grow and equipment. Also they took his 50 in plasma and his car as well. He got stopped in a different city from where he lives and they still obtained a warrant and kicked in his door. They didn't have a van though but they did have a uhaul and they did bring his shit out in garbage bags. He did get charged with 3 felony counts and they made one stick and he plead out. It only cost him 5 g to bondsman 7 g to get his car plus 4 for the lawyer and 3 more in restitution. No jail time though. Oh and he loses his divers licence for 30 days plus restriction for 5 months after that. This is in Michigan though so states will vary.
