What size cabinet should i build?

I'm planning on building a cabinet for my second grow. My first is in the 4th week of flowering. However as a new grower I jumped the gun for a good deal and bought a 600w h.p.s light. I am only growing 2 plants and as you can already tell heat has been a huge issue. I bought a cheap cabinet 4'x2'x'7' and have had to modify so much to compensate for the heat issue. Everything is fine now but the whole point was to not raise attention to it, hence the cabinet.
Back to the point...I am thinking of going with a 4ft 6bulb T5 fixture for veg and then switching the bulbs in the T5 to flower bulbs as well as adding 2 cfl flowering bulbs for side light. I already have an inline 4" Vortex exhaust fan with a Carbon Scrubber.
How big should my cabinet be? I believe that T5's run a little hotter then the cfl's is that correct? I have 2 small 4" comp fans running in my old cabinet. However I was thinking of doing a double bottom with casters and just off-setting the holes to allow the exhaust to draw cool fresh air from the bottom. Then perhaps a small oscilating fan in the cabinet itself. I like that idea better then the comp fans. Any input would be great from any fellow T5 and cfl growers. As well as what size I should go with my new cabinet. Thanks!

a 600 should be in a 4x4 or 5x5 evan works good i would go with 8 ft high gives the heat a place to build up above your grow to be sucked out by your exhaust should have a passive intake at the bootom. a closet or room you build would be much better than a cabinet but it can be done its just hard to keep heat down,,, its hard enuff in a 5x5x8 room and your in a cab.

I am in the beggining stages of my grow box, but not new to growing entirely. My last grow was done in a closet so i did not have to much planning. This time i have a 4ft long, 4 ft high, 2ft wide box. I am going for the auto's for the time being, i want to see what they can do. I also am going with the T5 fixture, and a 150 w HPS. The T5 honestly doesnt give off nearly enough heat to compare to the HPS. As long as you can get a hole in the bottom for intake and a whole in the top for out take, and you watch to make sure your plants arent getting too close to the lights, 3--4 inches for the T5 and 6 inch from the HPS, you should be golden. Hope i helped a little, anyhting else just hit me up
