What should I do?

I made a huge, stupid mistake. When I was reading about certain strains before I bought my seeds, I thought that the flowering time was the time it takes to grow the entire plant. :(
Where I am, if I put them outside when they're done vegging, they'll probably freeze to death by the time halloween comes around.
I think that's what I am going to do though. Any ideas or advice?

Forgot to mention that I am bringing them in for a bit at night and then putting them outside, and don't want to keep them inside once they get larger.

I don't think that you made a huge mistake. As long as you got some hybrids, and not a pure sativa, you'll be fine.

Come October, you'll have a much better idea what you'll be able to do, and can decide then. That's why farmers watch the weather in the fall, and many growers in northern climates harvest their plants early.

She can take some pretty cool nights, even down to freezing for a few nights without dying. Some growers even say that the cold nights makes them produce frosty buds.

So you got plants indoors and when they begin to flower you are taking them outside?

Are they under lights in doors?

If you wanted to do it right now, you can make your girls flower now. Start to give them 12/12 light. But make sure they are getting the same everyday.

If you are not running lights, and they are outside, they will begin to flower out side before it gets 12/12 light, other factors come into play outdoors......cooler nights, etc.

But lets say you want to speed up the flowering outside, figure out for your area the 12/12 lighting (12 hours of darkness, 12 hours of light) , and just cover them over with a garbage bag, or place them in the basement (pots), and take them outside when it is the right time.................but make sure you do this daily until you harvest, or you may screw them up! :leaf:

Alot of growers will swear that growing outdoors produces a better high. Other than that, many people don't have the privacy or money to grow indoors.
