Hey everyone,
I need some help on choosing a reflector. I have a 430W Ballast and a 430W Argosun red sodium bulb. I need a to get a reflector and not sure on what I should get. I will be using either a 2' x 4' room or a 3' x 3' room. I am leaning towards the 3x3 for better, more even lighting. The room may have a chance to get warm, so I am leaning more towards an air cooled reflector of some sort. I don't want to spent Lots of $$, but willing to spend a reasonable amount. Any help would be appreciated in the room size and reflector type.

Thanks all,

http://www.htgsupply.com/ has greaproducts and prices. i would check their site out. if heat is an issue in your grow space i would recommend a cool tube reflector like one of these http://htgsupply.com/products.asp?categoryID=5

another option you can consider is ditching the reflector and hanging your light vertically. a lot of people are having great results with their grows this way https://www.rollitup.org/grow-room-design-setup/151164-my-vertical-grow-design-setup.html

Thanks,
I've been looking at stuff there, but I'm not sure of which one to get? Which is better a cool tube type or a hydrofarm AC model? I would prefer to stay with a Hydrofarm since that is what my Ballast is, and the AC models come with the correct cord and socket. So what do I need to look for in order to light my space the most effectivly? What makes one reflector better than the other?

OK I'm done rambling on.... I would appreciate it if someone could help answer some of my questions. :?
