i will never switch from soil :)
not dissing, props to soil growers, but i cant get the hang of it. i can hydro though. its simple to me. i see a problem with the plant, i know what it needs and can change it right away. with soil i feel like im always guessing. but i will say, the first crop with soil was beautiful-used soil in fla from outside though-idk. second crop died but was shit weed anyway. third soil i had strawberry cough from seed. they were stunted from the guy who gave them to me thought he could spray nothing but calcium tabs on them and they would be fine. i fixed them, but pots too small, so had to flower immediatly. i got 2 oz from 5 plants. horrible. bud wasnt that strong either, was like smoking reg with a good taste. everytime i grow in hydro i get around an ounce a plant in sog with 400w hps.

i dont veg tho. i have a 216w t-5 with a mom and her heir to the throne along with a 14g cloner. i cut 8" clones and put direct to flower after the leaves start to grow. kinda perpetual.

Well.. I've been growing for a while now but no matter what I do - I ALWAYS get approx. the same size nugs. Doesn't matter what strain it is, how big the containers are, what fertilizers, light type/power, etc, etc. And I'm bummed because I see some people get nugs the size of a FIST while others (including me) get only the smaller ones. Might I add that I have tried Uncle Ben's topping technique, LST'ing, supercropping, trimming, playing with light cycles amongst other things.

I've read that you need good root system, but I've had that and nothing, still. What about you? Post pictures of your best nugs and tell me what makes them special? I'm sure (I hope) i'm not the only one interested in this. Or maybe the whole world knows this 'secret' and I'm the stupid one? :D
