What LEDs for 3x3 tent?

Hard to tell nowadays in here. I am just trying to help.

My 3x3 right now is temporarily running my 8 bulb T5 and open until my 600W Blue MH bulb arrives. I sold my COB light.

When I had my SS 315 I just had my 4" fan/filter combo which vented out into the room. I did not A/C my 315 but if one wanted or needed to you can (depending on reflector) and you would have some really low temps. I run passive intakes as my grow area is a spare room with tents.

For a 315 today this would be the route I would go:
http://growershouse.com/prism-lighting-science-315w-cmh-ballast-philips-bulb-combo-120-240v

And this reflector:
http://growershouse.com/phantom-315w-ceramic-metal-halide-cmh-reflector

That reflector is just as good as the SS one, and if you need it later or right away for $30 you get the A/C kit. This also allows you to have your ballast outside the grow area if you want (I recommend this)
I ordered the Prism ballast and light combo and phantom ballast and unfortunately, i guess the ballast and reflector have two different connectors :/ lol
What should i do?

I saw in another thread someone linked you the proper adapter from hydrofarm. You need the BAASP model. I use three of these one for each ballast with my hoods. No issues and common practice. I had to go buy one locally yesterday for the new 600w setup in my veg tent.

Call growers house , my CMH conversion kit came with a piece that converts the connector on the ballast to be able to be hooked into a CMH reflector (it changes the pin lay out) the piece probably costs 5$ or less.

I also have a 3x3 tent set up and was looking for what light would be best if i wanted to go LED....I wasnt really interested in a DIY and still wanted the most bang for my buck. I have read through the whole thread a couple time and decided to go with the Timber-400w Vero 29 V7 (4cob) kit. ordered my light and it was in a timely fashion. Dan answered all the questions and more that i had to ask. Cant wait to get the light, fire up the GH waterfarm, and get SCROGing!

8-) got my Timber-400W Vero29 V7 and made this x shaped frame. now i can move my lights in and out off a central axis for getting optimal coverage. definatly happy w/ my purchase. although aluminum angle is expensive to buy to make the frame..... What do you think? also about what % should i be setting my potentiometer to at this stage (just transplanted clone to waterfarm.)

Looks cool, remove the tin foil, that stuff causes hot spots that can burn your plant, i got 3 waterfarms too so if you ever need any info let me know.

have you had this happen to you? i have heard/read it keeps shit from growing on your hydroton and helps slow evaporation from the surface.

Use a black plastic trash or turkey bag, i don't bother, once the plant gets big enough no light will get past it, sometimes a lil algae likes to grow on the grow stones, hygrozyme + h2o2 will take care of that.

Hi everyone. I live in South America so probably going to need general recommendations vs specific brands. Wanting to know if two or three 100 watts leds, 6600k full spectrum, will be adequate to grow two plants in my humble 3x3 mylar tent. Thanks for advice. I skimmed the rest of the thread because it seemed like I couldnt take advantage of a lot of the discussion, so I apologize if any similar question has already been answered.

How can I calculate the kilowattage l could expect to use on such a setup?

I have a tiny little algae family trying to set up shop on my hydroton. Just noticed it this morning. So h2o2 ok on its own for this (have some 29% standing by) or do I need to go buy some hygrozyme today?

Worth a try, should clear it up somewhat, i like hygrozyme cause it also helps the roots.
