what kinda glass shield?

I am gona add a glass shield to a reflector.
What kinda glass do i need to buy?
Will the glass take away from spectrum?

hmmmm? well if you can you should do a cooltube. the glass does take away from the strength but that is made up by the distance closer you can get the light.
