So i want to paint my grow area walls white. The question is what kind of white paint is the best. You know, matt, semi-gloss,flat,gloss, and if a certain brand has more reflectivity.

I've heard that flat is best. I guess it disperses light better than gloss - seems sort of counter-intuitive, but I've heard that it's true.

always flat white or if in the uk its called matt emulsion, its a water based paint and therefore doesnt give off heavy chemical fumes like the oil based stuff(especially when they get warm)in the uk i'd suggest 'dulux' brand its also available in the usa but sumtimes it goes under a different trade name and i cant bloody remember what its called again)

to make it easier u can use a flat white spray paint. just paint it and wait an hour or so before you put the plant back in there. also wet the floor/tray in that closet after u paint the wall so that the dust can settle and stick on the ground.

I just used flat white spray paint on my space. I would definitely wait more than an hour before using it though. My paint wasn't fully set for several hours after.
