What kind of set up for a $1000

So I was planning on spending around $1000 for my set up, what kind of set up would be best to get? What all could I get for that much?

2... Style of growing: Scrog... or just let them bush..

wow thanks a lot! I think im gonna go the soil route for the taste, I havnt quite picked the place in my home yet, its hard to decide the sneakiest place so people that come over wont stumble upon my "opperation" haha. Im thinkin just building a box about 6x3x3
and have a 3x3x3 veg room and 3x3x3 flower room, so they will have to be bushy, i think bushy plants have more bud though? or am i wrong?

Our set up cost about $650 if you want to check it out! We still need our veg chamber though! Best advice though. Look around your house, cause we used alot of stuff around our house to build our set-up which saved us more money! You'd be surprised at what can be converted for convince purposes!

So you speak of 1000$ not counting the room??...

Just think that the rooms will need to be well ventilated... (fans and exhausts) ... as far as your light is concerned.. Which for some reoson it feels like its where the money is... anyway... yeah ballast is about 180 for a sweet dual that you can run hps for budding and mh for the vegatative stage...a 400 watt system will cover a 5x5 area no problem.. some people say that it wont cover more than 4x4 but in any case your fine there... lets see what else... I would definately do the SCROG style for indoors...

I looked around alot in my are and online and it seems that you cant go wrong if you are paying about 150 for light with hood... and 150 for ballast... give or take 50 bucks... depending on store and if you want a dual one... youll have to do some reading about soil fertilizing and stuff because i haul water not dirt...

What is SCROG, like i know its Screen of Green, but I really dont understand it?

well im getting the rest of the money soon, I'm just trying to plan right now, im putting a lot of work into the pre grow phase so i can focus more on my babies
but i will keep everyone(who cares at least haha) fully updated!

do you see that website i linked? they have some good packages.
