What is your preferred method of heating your tent?

I am finding a very small oil fin heater works very well.

After the heater settles into its desired set point, the extraction system and what not - it holds the tent (1m2) for very long periods of time between switching on due to the residual heat retention from the oil.

Had a standard element heater in the mother room, but found that blasted too much heat to quickly into that room, even on the lowest setting. Placed another small oil heater in there, and now holding set point like the flowering room does.

What do you use and why?

As above. If your claimate is cold enough that it needs heating, most people in this situation take advantage of this by adding more or bigger lights. Then you get the benefit of more light and more heat. As above as well, the majority of people work to cool their tent more, not heat it up, so don't expect a huge number of users in the same boat as you.

my flower room is 75* lights on and 73* light off. I run 2x600hps (might add a 3rd) big kahuna hoods and an 8000btu a/c.

I switch day and night so dark time is during the day when it's less cold. Doesn't help much during the real cold winter days but then I already heat up my home so instead of sucking in cold air from outside I suck in room temp air into the closet. And partly why I have a closet instead of a tent.
