story sounds strange. Tell your wife to file a grievance that reflects the unfairness. Please do tell what position was create under the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission just for a female black woman
She wants to, but she doesn't want to draw unneeded attention to herself as she has only being working for this company for 2 months. I don't have to much info about the exact position, but it is taking place at USPS. All I can tell you is its a window position.

Look if your lady is not willing to stand up for what appears to be some wrong doings at the USPS, please tell her to STFU complaining. Hell she had enough balls to ask if she can have the position if the other person was fired. I'm still confused as to what position was set up in the USPS by the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission for a black female only.can you say bullshit

Not your problem, it is your employer's problem. Before getting riled up you may want to consider that the person may have a good reason like FMLA which is also not your problem.

i worked at lexus... i worked the lot and customers cars ect... pretty low end job but paid 10/hr so of course its normal to be told by many to do there jobs. after afew months and complaints from the service reps cause the customers werent getting cars fast enough or waiting in the valet area. however reasons were cause same service reps tell us to do all there leg work fetching other cars for technitions or goign to carwash an recon for them. it is not our job to do that but was told when we said no that we were not helping enough... i go to manager with all coworkers who feel same and boss says to report them next time. so we did. a week later i get a picture of me taken when on my break siting down and get fired by them. yes i was clocked out on break and proved to boss but was told i shouldve been helping if it was too busy there.

moral of my story is, its you or them. report what you feel is wrong and be honest and dont hold back. anyone who thinks they can do what they want and do lazy work will do so. nothing you can do but report an do your job. i wont get crazy invloved into work drama ever again. i keep my mouth shut and work to my potential and if something affects my work i will report it from now on.

It is quite obvious you cannot understand the fact that something has been attempted to do something about this person, but has came back as this person filing a grievance and trying to claim race for her laziness. The reason why she asked if she could fill that position if it did indeed open up, was for a pay increase. Now if you have an issue with that fact then you should seek help.

Frankly the actual position title is irrelevant, and I don't see how it matters anyway. Are you going to google the specific job title and try and offer a rebuttal, and somehow claim that this job title is just, simply because of this womans skin color, when the fact of the matter is it was already stated that she got this position after filing a racial discrimination grievance.

You can call bullshit all you like, since apparently you live in a perfect world where this couldn't possibly happen.

Maybe if you're going to comment, you should take the time to actually read the whole thread. If you would have done so, you would have read the part where she takes "EVERY" Friday and usually the following Monday off. Now, by you not actually taking the time to think before you speak "write" you just made yourself look completely silly by trying to bring up the family medical leave act, which wouldn't cover being out every single Friday and Monday.

Lets say you have just obtained a new job, and you go to work everyday, on time, and do your best to keep up with daily production. After a couple months of you working, you start noticing a pattern. A certain individual never comes in to work on Friday, and usually doesn't come in on Monday either, on top of all that, said individual does this on a no call, no show, weekly basis. This certain individual cannot be touched because every time someone tries, a grievance is filed and the race card is pulled.

What are your opinions on this issue?
I was being diplomatic with you and actually providing you with genuine advise. The real subtext to your post is to bitch about someone you consider a lazy minority that should be fired but wont because of their special privileges from being a minority. I understood you perfectly.

To be honest I think your story is BULLSHIT. No job @ the United States Postal Service is create solely for a black female by the EEOE. If your wife is not happy SHE should files the grievance after she document for about a month of the days that are missed. You keep talking about the black lady filing a grievance because she is black. Tell your wife to file her own after she document dates and times or STFU. I actually think his story is BULLSHIT..No call/no show gets you fired...unless of course you fucking the management..lol Filing a grievance saying their unfair because you black, won't hold water to the fact you missing work with out calling in. No amount of blackness can hide that fact.

i opine that you should stop making up stories on the interweb and go get another abortion for your wife while voting for a guy who will outlaw them.

So your genuine advise is that it's not my problem because in your mind she was taking part of the FMLA. Explain to me how that is genuine advice when you just quoted where I specifically said that she takes every Friday and the following Monday off.

I guess it would fair to say that you don't see an issue with someone taking off a certain day, every single week. all while increasing your work load just because they can.
