Serious question - to those of you who refer to your THC intake as "medicating".. why do you say that? I take a lot of daily medications and I don't refer to taking pills as medicating... just wondering what makes smoking weed worthy of such a title.
Generally speaking, I usually get this vibe of superiority from those who use the term "medicate" as opposed to those who smoke to get high, or just to feel better. I don't have cancer, chronic back pain, or any of those other issues THC is commonly "prescribed" for. I DO have GAD, which I take Zoloft and Welbutrin for, but cannabis doesn't seem to help (or hurt) that. If I lived in a medical state, I would probably laugh at the doctor that tried to write me a "prescription" for it. I think cannabis certainly has it's medicinal properties, but fact of the matter is that smoking ANYTHING negatively affects your health. I just don't understand the term "medicating" and why it is used.
Anyone care to enlighten me?
