What is up with Pink Kush?

I got some Pink Kush given to me from another grower. He claims it's his best strain and they have had great success with it outdoors. He promised me I will ditch all my other stains when I try it. I grow DWC indoors with Lucas formula. I grew it out and I was very impressed that it was done in 45 days. The nugs were nice and tight and the size of golf balls. Lots of sparkle and the pistils were all red and receded. The taste and high were nice but a little on the weak side.

On my 2nd attempt I figured I had better look at the trichs this time around and see what is going on. I checked the trichs at 45 days and they were clear. OK there is my slight problem. I am now at day 61 and they have been getting cloudy, probably 90% cloudy, but no amber trichs in sight. They are still drinking water. I thought I would be flushing by now but I have been keeping them on a half dose of nutes this past week. (.4EC)

Has anybody grown PK before and does this sound familiar? Does it really take this long? The appearance of the buds is very deceiving and they look very done. I am used to 70 day sativas so I have some patience. I know the standard answer is to "wait longer" so that is where I'm a;. still waiting and wondering wtf.

curious why you thought it would finish in 45 days.
anyways you're on the right track. yes, growing conditions, fertilizer, light, temperature etc can all affect finish times.
You're almost all cloudy now, when you are, keep watching until the clouds begin to degrade/change color then harvest, or take one branch dry it try it and be the judge. dry it correctly though, no rushing.
Flowering times could be 65-75 days. there is no flushing, as the season closes your resources are naturally reduced outdoors, this has worked out well for a few billion years outdoors and indoors. Try water only for a few days, then feed, etc. net run I suggest organic feedings.

where is the pic? wtf

I have never been able to take good bud pics and I have so many nice Canon cameras too. I think I have heard of some strains that don't get amber triches. Is that even possible?
