What is this??

Last year I noticed a couple of cannabis plants growing alongside the fence that seperates a golf course and a corn field. There were also more plants on the outside of the woods of the golf course, about 100m away from the other patch. I collected seeds from the plants and planted them this year as a potential guerilla grow. Throughout this whole ordeal my question has been and remains, is this the good stuff or just some hemp left over from the fields of it grown long ago? Below are some pictures of how this patch is doing this year. I've been taking the time to weed out males in order to get some sensimilla.

It definitely is a lot of plants ha ha. I'm farily certain it isn't the farmer's grow, I suspect if it isn't just hemp its someones old grow that they let go.

Haha nice find! Looks like ditch weed/feral hemp but keep a close eye on it, you might have some skunky sativa there :)

Let's hope so! So you think the only way to know is to wait to harvest and try it?
Yeah unfortunately thats the only way. If it's hemp the buds will be very tiny and whispy with little to no trichome production. Sativa on the other hand will smell very stinky and you will see lots of trichome production.

Let them go a few weeks and take some more pics, it's hard to tell this early in the flowering cycle.

So I just got some crappy pictures, and I emphasize crappy, of one of the plants. It looks like they are barely just starting to flower and I'm still not sure if they are just feral hemp/ditchweed or decent stuff so let me know what you think!

This one did not have a noticeable smell when I was there today and no visible trichs aside from those on the pistils. There is an 9 ft plant about a mile away from this one that smells like straight up skunk though. I just wonder if this really were just hemp then why would there be sooo much diversity in the plants?
