What is this?

I've been growing some Blue Dream for the past month. It is not my first time growing but it is my first time with these genetics. The plants are currently in the beginning stages of flowering. However, me and my grow partner have begun to notice these 'pear like beads' developing at random spots along the plants stems. They are not insects and I can guaranty that. I have never experienced this before and can't tell what exactly it is, or what's causing it. Has anyone ever experienced this before and if so what insight can you share with me?
