Hello. i am in to the fifth week of flowering and i started to notice red stems and some yellowing. i thought it was n deficiency. still the same issue, and now i have this purpleing. look at pics. strains effected, White widow and a Chrystal. and there is a fan on them, blowing air conditioner air at them, 64f.

i have searched a good bit, and i am just not sure. temp 78-83 f and ph is 6.8
any help? +rep. thanks,
W0lf

Extreme cold causes plant growth to slow down, and distilled water sounds like overkill. Did you measure the aactual output of the A/C with a non contact thermometer? The air temps may be alot colder than you think- for instance the air blasting out of my central A/C right at the floor duct is around 48 degrees- darn cold. But it's also a big place. Interesting that you say the AC output was 64 yet the room temps were 78-83? That's pretty warm for that cold of air blowing. As far as mg def. you can add 1 tsp of Epsom salts to a gallon of lukewarm water and water with that, perfectly safe. I wouldn't water every time with it, but it sounds like you have robbed your plant of essential trace minerals by using distilled water, which is supposed to be totally mineral free. Just an educated guess...

thanks. i have been using ej. micro-blast for the micro nutrients. but, everything i use seems to have minimal calcium. hence, the cal/mg. i may switch to spring water next grow. the ac is in another room, with box fans leading the air around the corner into the closet. thats why it seems like such a change
