What is the easiest to grow and most yielding strain?

Hey guys,

I am a beginner at growing so at first I just want to grow something simple BUT something that yields a lot... Have any idea?

I want my first grow to be as big as it can be, and mostly, be SUCCESSFUL! :)

Thanks in advance,
Asphalte ;)

I went on vacation at a terrible time, and of half a dozen plants I left (most just starting flower) at the time, only one came out looking healthy and with great buds... G13 Labs Blue Dream, not a huge yielder, mostly cuz it was rather short, but very cola dominant, would mainline well, and was very resistant to pests, nute deficiency, and Ph swing.... I was very impressed with it, and will be getting a couple more on my next seed order.

Northern lights is bullet proof. Chronic aka Supernova, is a very old award winning Northern Lights cross. Yields higher with all the same bullet proff of NL. THC above 20. Yield over 2 pounds a light. Can put more plants under a light. Very tight and straight up growing.

i would recomend nirvanas misty but its no longer available..great production, done in 50 days and great bag apeal...they need to start selling it again...ive heard skunk#1 is easy to grow w/ great yield potential. what about big bud or critical mass are they easy to grow?? i have no problems w/ them in DWC.

Agreed. NL crosses are a great starting point. Auto may even be easier and faster.

I just grew a NL x Big Bud Auto. I tossed the seed in 3 gallons of Fox Farms mixed with perlite and put it in my tent under 150 w hps, 18/6 for three weeks then 12/12 because I had to flip the lights for a photo I was growing. Even under 12/12 I ended up with some great smoke. I didn't have a single issue with it and in 70 days from seed it was harvest time. It's fail proof. I'd go as far as to say it didn't even really need nutes.

Plant it and forget about it. I told Herbie at Herbies Head Shop that I liked it so he sent me 4 more for free. Stick six of these under 400 watts then come back in 70 days to harvest 12-16 ounces.

Imagine if I had cared for this plant and kept it under 20/4. It's a great place to start. Make friends with Herbie and he'll take care of you.

This is wet weight. I didn't weigh it when dry. Probably 1.5 oz.

I think imma go with northern lights fem seeds then focus on cloning a healthy mother in the near future.

And nahhh i dont like the way autos work, ill go with 24/0 then 12/12, the classic way!

Anyways in terms of quality, how is NL? Liiiike lets compare it to:

- m39 (shitty in my opinion)
- og kush (my favourite)

AK48 is super fast. Fairly easy to grow just gotta be careful to go real easy on nutes in the beginning and that's it. NL is good but not as fast or potent, but slightly more forgiving to mistakes. Either way you can't go wrong. I'd recommend the ak48. Both form nirvana.

I'm 13 weeks in from seed on a Nirvana Ice strain...

It has been one of the easiest plants I've ever grown.

It's in a 3 gallon container, and the soil I use is ffof. I've only had to feed it maybe 2 times, 3 at the most, and let me tell ya, it is PERFECT. I will be harvesting within the next 1-3 weeks, and the leaves are super dark green with no burn, or deficiency problems.

It's beautiful, and I've barely had to do anything to it!

I was going to grab one of these autos actually just out of curiosity, it seems like a common smart choice. What I see though is that your top half is more mature then your bottom half, common.. although I was hoping different. Some strains a bred to flower with only 6 weeks on top of which are bred to fully mature as a whole all at once, strains that do this I couldnt tell you, wish I knew even one lol. But cheers thanx for your post, needed that.

Its a nice medium with a bit of piney flavour. m39 could have been a good strain but everyones opinion of it has be tarnished because of its initial creation built on flower fast dry fast sell fast, so it turns out like shit regardless. If grown from a personal homebody grower it could be very cerebral or aduquat pain relief. Og kush, that shit is hard to compare to even in the kush strain/phenotype world lol. But northern lights.. again a classic, won't let you down. If they have regular seeds instead of autos with it being crossed with big bud I would suggest grabbing the big bud cross for clear reason lol.

PS. the classic way is not 24/0 it is 18/6 for veg... I used to think the same thing.. but trust me if you pay attention you will notice a greater difference giving them time to rest. This of course being if you plan to veg for a little while instead of just 2 weeks. Goodluck dude, cheers!

If you go with an auto check out dynaFem. personally im not a huge fan of autos. But they got some high yielding strains as far as autos go. The diesal autos they have are amazing.

That last part is essential and some people will argue to the death that 24/0 is better for veg. That six hours of dark will help your roots develop faster and stronger.
I used to 24/24 veg myself from listening to people that havent tried it both ways.
