i have a friend that has used the volcano worked great......then he bought his own but the extreme
and said it works the same if not better
and comes with more stuff.3 mouth piece's.2 bags, extra screens.a couple whips.and a remote.it's just cooler and is 370 bucks cheaper..........i guess its just personal preference. Too each his own.

I have a Vapir One 5.0 and it works really good for being a "cheaper" vaporizer

Hey thanks. This question turned out to be a real bonus for me. I get to show off my vaporizer and smoke a bag. I used about half the bud in the pics. Some of my partners homegrown. Very tasty I might add.
Hey I have the same book as you, and nice vape!

Where did you get that one? How much was it? Is it as nice as the volcano?

I love it and it only cost me one seventy five plus the shipping. It ended up being like one ninety two. I searched for days looking for this vaporizer. My buddy ordered another but was accidentally sent this one which listed for like two fifty from a place called, half baked goods. Obviously well named, the one he ordered was under a hundred. I've seen it as high as four hundred. The place I found it no longer carries it.

I also have a few other 'bibles' on growing. This is no longer a hobby, it's an obsession. I'm not even sure any longer if I like the growing or smoking part better?

I got it at a website called four aces wholesale in california. They no longer have it but you can check at halfbakedgoods.com I think that is the web site. I paid one seventy five, plus shipping. I never smoked a volcano and truthfully don't feel the need. I have smoked some other vapes but this one is great. Grind your weed, fill the chamber, put the little weed holder in place and screw on the top. The mouthpiece has a valve that operates by compressing it when you take a toke and closes when you pull it away from your mouth. Set your temp, let it warm up, the light goes off when it's warm and then hit the air button and fill the bag. Take a toke, another, another, you're baked.

Edit. I forgot to mention, the bag and mouthpiece locks into place when you push them together for a nice tight no smoke leak fit with the chamber holding your weed which is pressed up against the heat source very snugly. They even give you extra parts and my partner found a place for replacement diaphrams for the air pump.

I've had my V-Tower Extreme now for a little over a year now.
I'm still impressed by all the little gadgets it comes with.
The fact that it's digital and it has a remote control is just a couple of the features I love.
When I bought it, it was only $300. I have no idea how much they go for now.
I've tried several different vapes including the volcano.
The volcano is really nice except for the price tag. I can't justify $500 for something just to get high with.

Once I bought the vaporizer, the wow factor wore off in about 3 months and I slowly went back to my other methods to get high.
From time to time I use it. Like when I'm low on weed.
One gram of weed can fill 8-10 tastey bags, and I only need 3 to get super baked.
Another reason why I use it, is when I get a bag of shitty dirt weed.
I throw it in the vaporizer and it tastes alot better and it gets you higher than if you rolled it.
I bought it also because it's like smoking weed in "High Definition".

Hey to all the extreme guys, just out of curiosity, what do you use the remote for? You would need to walk up to it to drag on a whip or connect a bag, so what do you do with the remote? maybe start warming it up without leaning all the way forward to your table to flip a switch?

i highly recommend people who mostly get dirt weed to get a vaporizer. i usually save the good shit for bong hits and dirt weed goes in the vape and would actually taste good.

Honestly...
If there wasn't a remote, it would be huge pain in the ass.
The LCD display and buttons on V-Tower are quite small.
I've only done it once manually and it's very difficult.
The remote buttons are big and like that because my hands are huge.
Plus, it has temperature controls, and fan controls on it, which I fluctuate throughout.
When the weed is fresh I'll put it at 376 degrees.
After a few bags, I raise the temperature 20 degrees, and then another 20 for the last 3 bags.
After that the weed is pretty much toast.
When it's at it highest temperature I put the fan on the lowest setting.
So yea, I'd say the remote is very useful.
Without it the V-tower would suck.

Oh. I see. I didnt know it had small buttons. My vape uses a knob for heat control, i don't know what the exact temps are, but i know what knob settings put me in the clouds.

My friend has one that kinda like the one your describing. I think he paid like 100 or something for it.
It does the job, it get's you high.
There's nothing fancy about it.

But that's like one of Jack Johnson's songs. I think it's Gone, gone, gone.

Look at all those fancy clothes,
But these could keep us warm just like those.
And what about your soul? Is it cold?
Is it straight from the mold, and ready to be sold?

And cars and phones and diamond rings, Bling, bling, those are only removable things.
And what about your mind? Does it shine?
Are there things that concern you, more than your time?

I love that song.

Vapor tip of the day: Take your herb out and regrind it when you are about halfway through your bowl. You can expose more surface area and get more vapor. Especially if it was moist before the first bowl.
