What is the best Led light brand that gives the best results???

I recommend Amare or HLG depending on your needs, or environment such as ceiling height if growing big plants.
I use this over a 7x4.5 for a 800ppfd (spaced my bars 8" on center) but can increase by puting the bars closer together.
It has an enhanced spectrum called Canna-Spec., second is Solar-Spec(C).View attachment 4513553View attachment 4513551 A listed 2.7 umol/j efficiency @ 660w & 2.6 @900w. Gasgeted Glass IP-66 or 67 (forgot) with large heatsinks to maintain efficiency levels over time. Bunch of bells n whistles for versatility & spectrum too. Its 900w.

They're taking 25% off on pre-orders for the new Bar-6 LUV (lightweight UV) = $975 Delivered.
Its a 660w lighter weight model that folds in half or detaches with wide extrusion sinks & protective coating over the diodes.
I do not have the exact spectrum of this on hand but its basically the Canna-Spec with UVA 385nn added. X2 Remote drivers, one for veg & one for flower that can be dimmed individually to provide the spectral blend & intensity you want for the phase.

The other lights i use & can recommend are These folks.

Currently running half my room Primarily Amare & other Half primarily HLG. Some Burples & others fill the gaps. All led.

They both yeild me high quality & (record breakers for me). My electric bill has been cut in half since hps just about & i yield quite a bit more of denser higher quality.
Both companies have good customer service & will honor their warranties.
Good Luck! Hope this helps.
Yea thanks. I was already sold on HLG but I'll definitely be getting them now

Stay the F away from KindLED. Horrible rip off for Shit technology.
This is what you're trying to go for. Maybe not this exact model, but boards, strips or COBs. This is thee cheapest fixture with legit Samsung diodes I've seen for a 4x4 space.

Also you could look into www.horticulturelightinggroup.com
If you need a pre-built fixture.

If you can plug in some wires and turn a screwdriver, a kit like the link I posted is going to save you literally half, if not more than half a pre-build cost.

Www.atreumlighting.com sells boards you can use to build your own as well..
I also recommend fissioning on Amazonian as I own and use them. The diode layout gives the best spread I've seen yet

That links to their page, but they also have other models without reds, and a 240w double board.
Spider farm PPFD is much less than other leading brand LEDS GAVITA, Growers choice, HGL, etc. Less PPFD=less yield... go figure.

Forget anything Burple ...............
I'll disagree with that one......I own the Phytomax 2 1,000 and with 4 plants with a 6 week veg I consistently get 2.5+, and 3+ three times now (from my critical mass x white widow mother (BX1)). The argument will be spectrum and power consumption so here goes. I run from clone in 55% coco/40% perlite/5% basalt. I feed 3 times a day via DTW on a 4x4 table. I hate touting on nutrients because it is always assumed that you're affiliated somehow, so I won't mention a label. I own a PhytoMax2 1000, a Gavita 1700e, a Grower's Choice ROI-680E, a 1,000W DE Gavita HPS, and A couple cheapo blurples from amazon that I started with that I keep because they do quite well with autos, and I've had numerous others as well, but I'll focus on the current inventory. the best I've gotten from either white LED is Currently 1.86 from the GC and 1.93 from the Gavita with the gavita producing a denser and stronger scented flower. My cheap blurples (880w in all) yielded their biggest weigh-in at 1.19. That was also when I was noob and training was more along the lines of hacking the poor things. that being said, I think if I were to put them on a mover and drop them another 6" I could hit the 1.5 mark with the cheapos but It would be a LOOOONG veg. I can regularly bang out 3+ from the HPS with a good solid breed and environment. I use CO² and trigger lighting for some photo-cellular trickery to maximize their sleeping time. the point is I run my HPS and it brings in some serious weight when its overdriven at 1150W, My BDL gives me the same results with 100 less watts and a shit ton less cooling required. If it's a pissing match for trich production, the cheapos from amazon banged out the frost like platinums (I know, shit lights, blah blah blah, says people who have never even used them most times), with the BDL falling in second place. I don't feel that blurple lighting was entirely wrong, look at the Budmaster GOD, or the old Bloom Boss Fusion 1800 those were lights n the beginning of the blurple madness that did a great job producing some damn fine flowers. Sometimes new tech isn't always the best option, I love all of my lights, but the fact remains that they each bring it's own thing to the table and it really is just a grower's preference. For me it's a giant experiment and to test my strengths and weaknesses in the garden in drastically differing environments in the search for some sort of fluke in the nature of the plant that makes it do something incredible. Like how did we figure out cold temps could make flowers that would normally stay green turn gorgeous purple shades? We observed the nature of its reaction to cold climates vs warm climates. we did a comparison and came to a rational conclusion. I want to know what i can fuck up to make an awesome result that's not been discovered. Just for fun: Take 1g of GOOD bud and grind it. Bring 2 cups of milk just below a boil and add ground herb. simmer for 45 minutes while stirring regularly. Pour through sieve or cheesecloth into a large mug. add hot coco. GET RIPPED, that's why I'm rambling incessantly via keyboard. another note, add 2-3 teaspoons cinnamon before heating and you can't smell the bud (in case you don't want you neighbores smelling it. lol) Yeah, Apple Fritter REEEAAAALLLLLLYYYYYYY does the trick for that recipe....Ok, uhm, lights....Yeah. I have no argument with homemade lights unless it's an idiot wiring them (*cough, cough, Cody Oebel, ccough, cough*), then I say it's a good strong no. If you have ANY doubt at all that you're incapable of wiring them, I advise you not to try it or at least have someone who knows how to do it around. Also, with ANY light, when you buy them, you get what you pay for and if you're only going to be running one light, a failure can cost you a whole crop if you dont have the resources to replace it while waiting on a warranty or just come up with scratch to buy a new one when the company says "you used it wrong".....Redundant measures always pay off. So. yeah, that's all. Dueces

I've seen a few people say kind led, and a few day timber. But kind is alot cheaper than timber so one would assume timber would be the better out of the two. I don't mind spending for top quality, so what is the best led light out there????
From Migro’s tests so far the HLG Diablo is the best overall. (Unless more tests have been done in the last week or so)

That's why burple containing the wavelengths whites lack , mixed with white 60/40,50/50 or 40/60 would all rock the house. Your Gavita led makes better buds then your GC your think? That's funny, same spectrum, no?

To bad he didn't show a par map hu.

From 4:14-5:06 he has the meter shown as it's tested live. May have to see him on the conversion/settings/meter he used.

What I would like to know is about the light spectrum.

There is so much misinformation out there about light spectrums.

These days if the LED is between 3000k - 4000k it should have enough red and blue light in it to be really sufficient for both veg and flower.

But it seems adding red during flower is actually beneficial to the buds, so it makes sense to buy, let's say, a 3000k + 660nm (red supplementation) LED quantum board.

Who here uses Quantum Boards and what is your diode setup on the board?

Cheers

Red light is better for plant that can flower and fruit, while blue light is better for vegetative plants that harvest its leaf. No best choice actually, all depends on what you are growing. If you don't understand this, it is a good idea to buy a full spectrum grow light that have all wavelengths for plant to thrive. Below is the 660W LED full spectrum plant light I use for cannabis cultivation, high efficacy 2.8μmol/J, and more evenly PPFD.
