To stop working for other people and making them rich. To start a family. To invent a job that gets me out and about all Summer with my family and make enough money doing it to get through til next year. To do what I want on my own terms, to benefit myself and the people close to me.
And why are they the best decisions I ever made? Because doing all that has given me control over my own life and made me happy.

Also, buying a moped and then a motorcycle. Saving $ on gas is awesomeness.

Walked away from a job offer that paid 65000 annually. ..but no amount of money could replace my happiness so I turned it down. .took off to California. ..next saskatoon. .now i have the man of my dreams. .job that pays 40000 plus full benefits and pension. ..and we just bought a cottage! !! Deciding to raise my daughter as a single father when she was just 20 months old. I was in the Army and my career path would likely have been "independent military contractor". Seeing the world through a little girls eyes changed my perspective and my life forever.

buying a house with a basement. Instaed of paying a landlord over $1,000 a month to rent a house, my roommates pay my $700 mortgage. And i grow as much as i want without worrying about some nosy bitch coming into my house.

One of the decisions that not only I made but the wife as well.........was to purchase 10 acres of rural farm land 25 years ago and to invite my parents and my wife's parents to move onto the property.......now both my parents have passed away which allowed me to have the son and his wife and daughter move into mom & dads house and when the wife's parents pass on the daughter and her man will move onto the property if they choose ..........my family is extremely important to me and it brings us great pleasure to share our lives with our family.
Our life is kind of like the Walton's on Steroids......... that my friend is by far one of the best decisions I've ever been part of and it has greatly impacted our lives and we wouldn't have done anything different.!!!
