What is causing this?

Lot of leaves showing yellowing with dark patchesdead.jpgphoto 5-2.jpgphoto 2.jpgphoto 2-3.jpg, and a few bottom leaves have had to be removed as they had gotten really bad. Someone suggested to me this could be a fungus? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I looked at the chart on growweedeasy as well as a diagnose all thread on another forum but was unable to pin it on anything. This is my first grow so my experience is very limited making it harder to figure out what it is.

It is the odd texture (you can really see it on the removed leaves) that is throwing me off otherwise I probably would have guessed K deficiency with the dark splodges.

Up until now I have been using a seaweed extract that my girlfriend uses in the garden very effectively, I have diluted it with water and added a good squeeze when I water the plants. I am pretty sure it isn't nute burn as I flushed the plants then did not use any nutes just plain water for a week and the problem just got worse. I know this isn't great but I have ordered advanced nutrients micro bloom range that should arrive soon.

IMO that's prolly the culprit right there..only use nutes specified for MMJ..when they come start at half label you can always increase..in the meantime, you can pick up some calmag and dolomite lime(I use Espoma Organic Garden Lime).calmag RX 1tsp/gal every water including nute water..you can sprinkle dolomite lime 1TBL/soil gal..usually u sprinkle in the soil to mix it up..you can get both these at Home Depot..this should start u on the right track.

lemme know if you have any other questions.

btw..what soil are you in?

It was a standard soil for growing veg cost me £5 maybe. I am doing this on the serious cheap as its more of a mini summer project and the only grow I can do for a while. The whole setup (inc seeds) has cost me around £130 so as you can probably guess a lot of my stuff is pretty basic. I got recommended to buy epsom salt as I can't find anywhere to get hold of calmag in the uk (we have a lot of calcium in our water anyway so hopefully this will balance it). The seaweed worked great for veg but now it has started to flower I believe you are right about just not having the right nutrients hopefully what I have ordered should sort that out. What is the lime for btw? So you think this is a nutrient problem not fungus based as obviously if it is fungus I need to get some antifungal very quickly before it spreads any more? Thanks for the advice.

You are better off getting soil specifically for MMJ like, fox farm, black gold etc because even on a budget it's better to start with a FEW of the right things than a whole bunch of the wrong and trying to doctor it later.

checkout my journals on grow and you will see my lineup I'm pretty sparse compared to most men on this site.

lemme know if you have any other questions:)

When I grow again I think I want to try that coco stuff but for now I am stuck with what I have. From the sounds of it I don't have to worry about fungus and the new stuffi have coming in should solve my issues :) I will be sure to take a look at your setup. Thanks.
