What is better. Regular or female seeds?

Trousers--

Like I said, I'm a complete newb, but I'm having a pretty darn decent first grow, and the bulk of what I think I know about growing comes from the Cervantes book. I'm not saying he is right, or whatever the heck the Cannabible guys name is, or anyone else, especially bmeat. I was just saying what they said as another perspective from someone I've had good luck with.

However, I think with this first grow, the thing I've learned most is to just listen to the plants, instead of an 'expert'.... It seems to me that the girls will tell you exactly what they need if you shut up and listen. Watching these girls grow has shown me how to do that, and to meddle with them as little as possible-- to bump them back in line if something goes wrong as gently as possible (kind of like raising children), but other than that, to respect them not just as a plant, but as entities of their own, that know far more about the nature of being a sacred medicine plant that any person ever will, just because that's what their nature is, and ours isn't.

That loops into the bit about me objecting to feminized seeds on a moral ground. I just have a feeling that tossing what is in essence, poison at a medicine plant to make it do something that is not in it's nature to do, can't be a healthy thing, for either the plant, or the consumer. Nature makes these plants sprout up female, male and hermi for a reason, and it's a reason that has been working well for the plant for a very long time. History shows that when humans turn up with their technology and ideas and start fiddling with stuff, it rarely works out well for either the plant, or the people.

I feel that the process of creating feminized seeds is rather disrespectful to the plant- it forces it to do what is not in its nature to do, and it stresses it out, and makes it sick. It assumes we know more about the nature of that plant than it does. It forces it to bend to our will. It just feels like that isn't right. Feminized seeds might be more convenient for growers, but 'convenient' does not necessarily equal 'better'.

That could also be just me being a stoned-ass hippie. Who knows.

As has been explained to you, every female cannabis plant can show male flowers. It is natural and normal. You are unnatural and abnormal.
You haven't made a solid argument yet, but let's hear why you think it is wrong. Your pathetic rants about colloidal silver were hilarious. i can't wait to hear why feminized seeds are wrong.

No. You are wrong. Stop making stuff up.

As I said, you can take any female cannabis plant and help it to produce male flowers. I used feminized seeds to produce plants which were used to produce feminized seeds. All of the resulting plants were female and produced great pot. I smoked some today.

It is pretty simple and has been explained to you numerous times yet you still act like a dumb stubborn child and insist your bullshit lies are true.

Hey, let us ask bmeat if males that go hermie end up getting female 'jeans'... lol...

Actually, plants going hermie to reproduce is quite natural. It is the sole reason it has that mechanism. Seems most landraces have that issue. If anything man has tried to breed that trait out of plants.

When it happens in nature the results are female with tendancies to hermie. Because we are trying to breed out the herm issues, we choose to use a chemical to induce hermies on a female that resists becoming hermie. We are actually trying to take it back to its nature!

it is NOT natural and feminization is basically terminator technology. its just that a lot of breeders fail at making "stable" terminators.

If he thinks you can not produce feminized seeds from plants that were produced from feminized seeds, he is wrong. I have done it numerous times. It is a terrible blog written by a person that does not know what they are talking about.

I could drink the amount of colloidal silver I use to turn 3 plants completely into males and it would not harm me at all. People do it all the time for health reasons. It is not unhealthy for the plant, or me. I do not consume anything from a sprayed plant, but you could if you wanted to safely.

Nature makes these plants sprout up female, male and hermi for a reason, and it's a reason that has been working well for the plant for a very long time. History shows that when humans turn up with their technology and ideas and start fiddling with stuff, it rarely works out well for either the plant, or the people.

It is natural that every female cannabis plant can show male flowers. Helping the plant do so is not unnatural or abnormal.
Using colloidal silver does not so much stress the plant, but trigger hormones the plant naturally has. When those hormones are triggered the plant produces male flowers.

I feel that the process of creating feminized seeds is rather disrespectful to the plant- it forces it to do what is not in its nature to do, and it stresses it out, and makes it sick.
When a grower stresses a plant too much, it shows male flowers. That is a normal and natural survival mechanism. The plant senses it is in danger and produces pollen in hopes of producing offspring.

Colloidal silver does not so much stress the plant, or make it sick, it just triggers a natural response that the plant has built in. You are not vhanging the DNA or altering anything.

It assumes we know more about the nature of that plant than it does. It forces it to bend to our will. It just feels like that isn't right. Feminized seeds might be more convenient for growers, but 'convenient' does not necessarily equal 'better'.

It is normal and natural.

I wish you were smart enough to understand that meat.

That implies that feminized seeds can not be used to produce more seeds. That is not true.
I have made feminized seeds with female plants made from feminized seeds.

So, feminized seeds are not "terminator technology"
If they were, I would not have thousands of feminized seeds that I made using feminized seeds.

I feel that the process of BLOWING DICK is rather disrespectful to the WOMAN- it forces HER to do what is not in HER nature to do, and it stresses HER out, and makes HER sick. It forces HER to bend to our will. It just feels like that isn't right.
lol. Ok that is heavily edited as I indicated, but I can't help but feel the two are connected for you.:lol:

Terminator 1 was naked steaming lean butt ass naked goodness. Both men.
Oh, sorry, I forgot, you were looking at Schwartzenneger in the beginning, and when he went to get clothes from the 3 thugs, I was trying to remember any scene with Linda Hamilton naked and couldn't think of one.
Don't forget number 2, when he went into the gay bar to get clothes.

i'll never understand why trousers finds it needed to continue to argue with bmeat over this.. it just goes no where at all, ever..
idk, just my $.02.. :D
I continue to be drawn to the meat's threads like they were a car wreck. Hate to see it happen but damned if I can't help myself for wanting to stand by and watch.

Getting to be cult classic threads in my head, right up there with Killer Klowns From Outer Space and Pink Flamingos. (Devine!)

I know, huh?
His comments, though they make you flinch and facepalm at every one, are a strange type of amusement.
