What Is a Bowl??

hey can someone explain to me what a bowl is, i see it mentioned all over but dont seem to understand what it is, if you could explain that would be great

Its the end of your smoking instrument ( pipe ) The part you put the weed into and light is called The Bowl

The part of a smoking instrument that you load the bud into. This ranges from pipes, bongs, and hukas. Hell I even call it a bowl when I refer to my dugout.
