Patriot Act does not affect me at all...nobody crashing down my door......Fed Reserve is one thing I like about Paul, but I still make pretty decent money and I'm in the game WINNING...National Debt is something I don't think Ron Paul could stop himself unless he had support from Congress ( just like Obama )....TSA has never molested me at all ( and I fly quite frequently), nor have I witness anyone be molested...where you molested by TSA or was this something you heard ???? Ron Paul view of property rights would violate Civil Rights and that is his deal breaker with me no matter what I do like about him...so he can be a spokemans for auditing the FEDS hopefully it will catch on, but I would never vote for him POTUSSo you like the Patriot Act? Mmkay. How about the Federal Reserve, do you think that should be as secretive as it is? Do you think the national debt just isn't a worry right now? Do you like being molested by TSA?
I can respect your opinion except for one major issue: Even if the patriot act has not affected you directly it does not justify it. Imagine the idea that people were outlawed from talking against the president, your stance is like the person saying "Well, I don't have a problem with the president. So it doesn't bother me." You of all people, londonfog, should admit that the Patriot Act is terrible.Patriot Act does not affect me at all...nobody crashing down my door......Fed Reserve is one thing I like about Paul, but I still make pretty decent money and I'm in the game WINNING...National Debt is something I don't think Ron Paul could stop himself unless he had support from Congress ( just like Obama )....TSA has never molested me at all ( and I fly quite frequently), nor have I witness anyone be molested...where you molested by TSA or was this something you heard ???? So many strawmenSo you like the Patriot Act? Mmkay. How about the Federal Reserve, do you think that should be as secretive as it is? Do you think the national debt just isn't a worry right now? Do you like being molested by TSA?
And yet here you and millions of others are speaking out against the president and your not being whisked off to a FEMA death campI can respect your opinion except for one major issue: Even if the patriot act has not affected you directly it does not justify it. I wouldn't say molested but I was searched. Being a male I think I was more okay with it, but I can't imagine being female. What about the nude body scanners, though?
(by the way I'm avoiding the property rights because we've had a million debates over this)
edit: What do you think about the government being able to authorize the assassination of American citizens?
These people control the entire monetary system of the United States. As transparent as it needs to be? Seriously? So many strawmen
The federal Reserve is as transparent as it needs to be. they are audited every year by independant auditors Put out reports which are available to the Public if you want to look
And i am sorry to say You just have to wait 5 years for their full transcriptions of their monthly meetings. But if you were intelligent and not just a useful idiot for hedge fund managers you would know the reason why
The first ever GAO(Government Accountability Office) audit of the Federal Reserve was carried out in the past few months due to the Ron Paul, Alan Grayson Amendment to the Dodd-Frank bill, which passed last year. Jim DeMint, a Republican Senator, and Bernie Sanders, an independent Senator, led the charge for a Federal Reserve audit in the Senate, but watered down the original language of the house bill(HR1207), so that a complete audit would not be carried out. Ben Bernanke(pictured to the left), Alan Greenspan, and various other bankers vehemently opposed the audit and lied to Congress about the effects an audit would have on markets. Nevertheless, the results of the first audit in the Federal Reserve’s nearly 100 year history were posted on Senator Sander’s webpage earlier this morning: http://sanders.senate.gov/newsroom/news/?id=9e2a4ea8-6e73-4be2-a753-62060dcbb3c3
What was revealed in the audit was startling: $16,000,000,000,000.00 had been secretly given out to US banks and corporations and foreign banks everywhere from France to Scotland. From the period between December 2007 and June 2010, the Federal Reserve had secretly bailed out many of the world’s banks, corporations, and governments. The Federal Reserve likes to refer to these secret bailouts as an all-inclusive loan program, but virtually none of the money has been returned and it was loaned out at 0% interest. Why the Federal Reserve had never been public about this or even informed the United States Congress about the $16 trillion dollar bailout is obvious — the American public would have been outraged to find out that the Federal Reserve bailed out foreign banks while Americans were struggling to find jobs.

Londog fog you know I respect you but that right there basically says "ohh I haven't seen it so why does it matter?"Patriot Act does not affect me at all...nobody crashing down my door......Fed Reserve is one thing I like about Paul, but I still make pretty decent money and I'm in the game WINNING...National Debt is something I don't think Ron Paul could stop himself unless he had support from Congress ( just like Obama )....TSA has never molested me at all ( and I fly quite frequently), nor have I witness anyone be molested...where you molested by TSA or was this something you heard ???? How in the world do you consider this an argument? Are we supposed to say "Oh.. well... the first amendment is really just a guideline."And yet here you and millions of others are speaking out against the president and your not being whisked off to a FEMA death camp
How about that
And I THINK ITS FUCKING WONDERFUL WE CAN "ASSASINATE" AMERICAN CITIZENS THAT MAKE VIDEOS ESPOUSING WAR AGAINST THE USA WHILE BEING MEMBERS OF TERRORIST ORGANISATIONS
So we should remove constitutional rights from certain citizens for a particular reasons? You talking about this piece of shyt? He needs to Die
Adam Yahiye Gadahn (Arabic: آدم يحيى غدن‎, Ādam Yaḥyā Ghadan; born Adam Pearlman, September 1, 197 is an American senior operative, cultural interpreter, spokesman[2] and media advisor[3] for the Sunni islamist group Al-Qaeda. Since 2004, he appeared in a number of videos produced by Al-Qaeda as "Azzam the American" ('Azzām al-Amrīki, عزام الأمريكي, sometimes transcribed as Ezzam Al-Amerikee). Gadahn converted to Sunni Islam in 1995, at the age of 17, at a California mosque and is described as a "homegrown", meaning that he has converted to an ideology so firmly that he is now willing to harm his country of origin.[2] He is believed to have inspired the 2007 Osama bin Laden video.[3]
He still has constitutional RightsSo we should remove constitutional rights from certain citizens for a particular reasons?
Stop being ignorant. These authorizations extend to American soil as wellHe still has constitutional Rights
All he has to do is fly into La Gaurdia Airport and he will have them
Here is some food for thought:Today, both The New York Times and The Washington Post confirm that the Obama White House has now expressly authorized the CIA to kill al-Alwaki no matter where he is found, no matter his distance from a battlefield. I wrote at length about the extreme dangers and lawlessness of allowing the Executive Branch the power to murder U.S. citizens far away from a battlefield (i.e., while they're sleeping, at home, with their children, etc.) and with no due process of any kind. I won't repeat those arguments -- they're here and here -- but I do want to highlight how unbelievably Orwellian and tyrannical this is in light of these new articles today.
"The truth is, there is no Islamic army or terrorist group called Al Qaida. And any informed intelligence officer knows this. But there is a propaganda campaign to make the public believe in the presence of an identified entity representing the 'devil' only in order to drive the TV watcher to accept a unified international leadership for a war against terrorism. The country behind this propaganda is the US . . ." -- Pierre-Henri Bunel
"Ana raicha Al Qaeda" is colloquial for "I'm going to the toilet". A very common and widespread use of the word "Al-Qaeda" in different Arab countries in the public language is for the toilet bowl. This name comes from the Arabic verb "Qa'ada" which mean "to sit", pertinently, on the "Toilet Bowl". In most Arabs homes there are two kinds of toilets: "Al-Qaeda" also called the "Hamam Franji" or foreign toilet, and "Hamam Arabi" or "Arab toilet" which is a hole in the ground. Lest we forget it, the potty used by small children is called "Ma Qa'adia" or "Little Qaeda".
So, if you were forming a terrorist group, would you call yourself, "The Toilet"?
NO they dontStop being ignorant. These authorizations extend to American soil as well
Here is some food for thought:
