What HID Light System Do You Run?

So many lights, so little info. Basically, I'm in the market for a 600w system. I've researched HTG, Inside Sun, Lumatek, as well as the Apollo kits found on Amazon/Ebay. Does anyone recommend an all-inclusive system? I'm gathering most packages come with digital ballast, hood, bulb. The ones found on HTG seem good but lack bonuses like rope ratchets, and cool tube hoods. That being said, I don't want to sacrifice quality for a free rope ratchet. I don't need to be worried every day that the grow room is going to catch fire because I bought a cut rate lighting system.

What I'm most interested in is safety, heat, noise and cost, in that order. Just asking for anyone's general opinions, and I appreciate the feedback. :leaf:​

I run 3 600 watt quantum's abd yet to have a problem after 2 years of constant use. You can go to monstergardens.com, they have multiple packages for what your looking for at reasonable prices. Hope this helps

I prefer magnetic ballasts to digital. If you plan on running a CMH or Blue halide they MAY not work with a digital ballast. I'd rather not spend 2-300$ on a light and find out. the heat that my 1000 watt magnetic ballasts generates is fairly insignificant. as for hoods, I really like the Radiant 6" from hydrofarm. some people dislike it and say that it doesn't give a true 4x4 coverage, but i've never had that issue with it.
