What have I just done?!

I have two tents, one veg and one flower... My flowering tent is 3 1/2 weeks into flowering. Last night before bed, I went in to check on my babies. I came home for lunch today and found that the zipper on one side was open. Last night I completely forgot to close up shop. It wasn't a lot of light exposure, but it sure was some from about 6 this morning when the lights turned off until 12:30 this afternoon when I caught it. What is going to happen? It's almost like it was staring at the moonlight from the 400W MH that was in the next tent over. The other tent I never keep fully zipped so there is some light leaking out into the room, but not much. It's my veg tent so it stays at 24/0... How is this going to affect my ladies? I'm nervous as hell! Input is greatly appreciated.

Relax, there is nothing you can do but wait and see.

As much as people talk about light leaks I have seen minor light leaks that have not caused any problem so there is a half-decent chance that lacking any direct light and only minimal indirect reflected light things may be just fine.

But again all the worrying in the world will not undo what has already been done so just chill and accept what happens be it good or bad.

as long as its happened like one time you should be ok. from what i have read you need more than a light leak once to f things up..

There's a virtual shitload of light shining down on many outdoor plants at night, and they somehow thrive.
I mean, streetlights, cars turning, the moon, your a-hole neighbors house.

I had many light leaks about an hour before I was to turn on my lights for the 12 hour cycle. I had the sun rising through a window in my house and onto my cabinet. The Cabinet isn't light proof around he edges so I'm sure some would leak in but I never had a problem.

I recently, corrected this and put a sheet over the window but I had no problems with hermies. I honestly think it has to do with the brightness and duration. If it's not blazing light but somewhat dim I wouldn't worry just STAY on the same schedule. Don't alter anything.

I've had bad light leaks for an hour or two at the end of the day and they didn't revert back to veg. (I have to open/close my closet door each day ventilation, I know, I know)

I've seen a pic of an outside plant once that had a street lamp that at night shone only on half of the plant - so half the plant was in bloom with nice sized buds, and the other half of the plant didn't have any buds on it. The SAME PLANT!

Thank you all for your responses... I feel much better about the situation. First I have a power outage where I lose my light and now I have a light leak during dark. I was just worried cause I've never exposed any plants to light in the dark. You guys definitely made me feel better about the situation. I'll keep you guys updated if I start to see anything weird. Again, thanks for everything everybody... RIU is by far the best forum around.
