Hello growmies, ViparSpectra would like to collect your grow sharings that might have happened in your grow journal.

As known, lighting plays an important role in the grow, which determines the harvest weight and the harvest quality. Here we would learn that what will happen if there's not enough light or too much light in a grow?

I can make too much at 14” or less. GrowWeedEasy has a good piece on LED light burn under Plant Doctor. I found it very helpful.

Was it a white grow light or Blurple?
its diy 4 cob setup 3000K 150w. the tent is a 2x2 but the vertical space is limited and this is my trial run for my latest pollen chuck destroyer x dinachem which grew lot taller than i expected.

That type of bleaching was common under Blurple. Some thought intense blue light caused it. It was referred to as “Hash Tips” which couldn’t be more wrong. Not seen it with white Boards or COBs. What COBs are you using?

Moving the light further from plants or decrease power to the light and if using an old Blurple LED light with blue and red mono emitting diodes, get a more current Board or Bar Light with white or white/red diodes.

:(How can we fix it if it happens?

+better light distribution with an smd board design or higher number of cobs ran at the same total wattage is useful in spaces with vertical limitations. once it happens you cant do anything about it. it bleached.

Our XS series and P series are the SMD board lights. Many of their characteristics are consistent with what you said. :bigjoint:
