What gauge wire for remote drivers?

Hey All,

I am now building 2 lights with 5xcxb 3070 BB 3500k with HLG-185-1050Bs, Currently working on the 1st. I have a 48 inch heatsink. I want to run the wires to the center of the heatsink, then up and out of the tent to the driver, instead of having the extra heat in the tent.

Do I need to run larger gauge wire from the first and last COB back to the driver? I am hoping for around 8 feet from the top/center of the heatsink to the driver. I don't want to melt anything but I don't know that I could honestly get a 16 gauge wire in the solderless holders I have... any advice?

I will hopefully post some pics tonight, I didnt have the 140mm fans i needed (damn you 120s) so I am waiting on the correct fans but I should be able to plug in and take a pic at least once I get this part figured out.
