What Do YOU Think?

SEEDS

I am looking for 2 types of medicinal traits.

1 - I like to have a up and speedy medicated state. Something that is good for anxiety or depression would be a bonus. I would like it to last a decent amount of time with no hard crash.

2 - I like to have a heavy stoned body buzz. If there are some trippy effects, that's fine. I don't mind if it puts me to sleep when I come down, as long as it lasts for a bit. Something a few hours before bed.


I am trying to narrow it down to 2 strains at this time due to the cost. I have listed in order in which I think I should try ....

1 - GreenHouse - Super Silver Haze (Rhino Seeds)
I think this is one of the 2 I will pick up. I don't want Feminized seeds and Rhino has regular seeds. I just don't hear a lot about him and wonder how old the stock is.

2 - Barney's Farm - G13xHaze (Attitude)
This is going to be my 2nd Choice I believe. Good Genetics and Attitude is been doing the forum good. This should have good genetics and not Feminized.

3 - Joey Weed - White Widow (Hemp Depot)
This is suppose to have the genetics from Brothers Grimm stock from the late 90's .....when it was potent. He is suppose to have good genetics and that is what I am looking for so I can get a good mother plant.
Price is why this is in 3rd spot.

4 - Sensi Seeds - Jack Herer (Attitude)
I wanted just to get this one strain, but the price is the problem at the time. I can pick up 2 nice strains for the price of this one. This will definitely be in my collection. Is it worth it to get just this strain when I could get Super Silver Haze and G13 x Haze for the same price while testing out 2 banks? I would move this to #2 and select this with SSH and my first two choices till I can send away for more seeds if I knew I could trust seedbay (not the uk one). This and SSH for my first grows would make me VERY Happy, I think.

5 - GreenHouse - Arjan's Haze (Rhino Seeds)
I wanted to save this for later, but I think in the next few months I will have to pick this up if I want a seed version and not Feminized. I am most likely going to try Rhino once and if all is good, get these. I don't want to lose out on the seed version.

6 - Serious Seeds - Kali Mist (Attitude)
I think this is a good strain to have in a collection by what I read. The Genetics are from here and they are not Feminized.
This will definitely be in my collection. Is it worth it to get just this strain when I could get Super Silver Haze and G13 x Haze for the same price while testing out 2 banks?

7 - Sensi Seeds - NL #5 x Haze (Attitude)
This is another strain for the future. It's pricey too, but the genetics are worth it, but I have to wait on it for now.


I have not chosen a final strain yet. I like that 8 ball Kush from Barney's too. Super Sweet Tooth looks good. Maybe even a Blueberry or some type of Chocolate or even Red Diesel.


-Do these choices fit what I like? I think they do but not completely sure. I know it depends on how mature the trichs are as well, so I will be looking for a harvest when they are cloudy.

-Am I picking the right company for the strain of my choice? I like to stick with the originators.


Set-Up

Flowering Room

40" x 80" x 7' space. Two Lumatek 600 watt Digital Ballast. Two Sun XXXL Magnum Reflectors. Was going to cool the hoods with the panasonic inline exhaust.

-Going to have air blown in and fans in the room.

-Going to use some C02 2 liter bottles

-Panda Film Base with Mylar walls.


Mother Chamber

About 24" x 40" x 4'. One Lumatek 400 watt Digital Ballast w/ MH bulb.

-I was going to go with Hortilux Bulbs. Are those good or are the SuperSun Better? I was the Enhanced Spectrum for Flowering and a super blue for the mother chamber. I did think of going to T5's for the mother chamber, but I think I will get better penetration once I have a few mothers in there and it will keep them from stretching a ton?

-Panda Film Base with Mylar walls.

Cloning Chamber

About 24" x 40" x 3'. Was going to use T5 lighting in here. 6500 K bulbs.



I just try to give so info so people can see what I am dreaming about doing .........and see if I may encounter any problems ahead of time.

After good mothers are chosen, if lucky enough to get any, they will be kept in veg and SOG with clones.

i would go with numbers 3 and 5 but number 1 is realy good to imo and could replace either 3 or 5.....its so hard to pick.....lol.

i'm groing blue moonshine and finished a crop of g13 hp sensi.both are big yielders. both las long time, the bm is a real couchlok affect and can be trippy .the g13hp has a energetic stone but strong if grown accurately and very easy to clone.your setup is like mine other than a 250mh .those 600s are the shit , i get near 2 pounds on both mine .go to my g13hp journal to see the size of those monsters,lol. heres a bm.both have thc content of at least 19% or stronger

I agree, hard to decide. Really, I am just making sure I am picking out the strains that fit what I am looking for...especially a energetic strain and I will wait till the trichs are cloudy to help that effect....not all of them

-How many mothers do you have under the 250 MH?

I actually looked at that BM strain and liked it. Your grow is AWESOME! Will be checking out your journal. The color of the colas are amazing. Nice to see it grew out like what was advertised.

so far three, but i am jus keepin the best g13hp clone for a mother,but while the BM is finishing i have 20 white russians 3rd week veging and 20 big buddah Blue cheese plants at 10 days.will keep a clone of ea.for a mother.i am reordering the bm because feminized seeds give me hermies 2 times in a row, i highly recommend to stay with reg. seeds.i fought off hermies and succeeded with jus a few seeds.the 250 is great ,its a converting light hps also.the only reason i got a 250 is because i want slow, good vigorously growth, it was recommended by a hydroponics store.if you can get by with growing bm as far odor control goes,you can grow anything stronges smell, i love the smell,lol.my house smells great.jus febreeze plugins do great job.

You just can't go wrong with a good Haze So I would pick(and have picked) #2 -- G13XHaze for up buzz and for the body buzz I would ( and have) picked -- White Label White Ice at Attitude

- I am not interested in any FEMINIZED seeds at this time. The seeds that I posted are in SEED version only. That's why they are from all over. I am looking into that seedbay sight right now. I would love to be able to pick up 10 beans of Jack Herer and then pick up the SSH or G13 x Haze. The JW WW is cheap enough to grab then and then the fun can start

- I am only going to have a few mothers at first, but I am going to have it air cooled so the 400 can be closer to the plants. I actually picked up the Lumatek 400 - Hydrofarm 6" air cooled Hood w/ Glass - Hortilux USED MH Bulb (will be replacing it) - and hangers for $160 on Craigslist from some kewl dude. Had to drive a decent way, but he made it worth the trip besides for the deal

- For odor control, I am going to have a odor sock on the end of my inline fan. Outside the grow room I have this unit that filters the air and has UV light deal. We'll see ....

-That G13 x Haze from Barney's looks sweet and it's still pretty fresh from his Cup win with it, so now is a good time to get it

-I'll check that White Ice out too ....I know that's a good white strain. Do you think it's better than White Widow alone? JW has the old GH genetics, that's why I was interested

rememer wen your at the last wek plus extra week use 7 tsp. sugar daddy per gal. for agressive flowering and resins to your filtered water or drinking water, by the time you pick them they will totally crystalize stiff and will not shrink, and get unbelievable weight.jus thought i'd hook you up. i'm getting 63 grams dry per 2-gal. container.

Good Info! Is that the same at Advanced's Sweet Leaf? I was going to do their nutrients and then add the Sweet Leaf at the end.

i dont know, i never heard of that one, a online hydroponics store sent me a bottle free to try , i'm going to order a liter before this nex crop gets it put on.anyway its a carb boost ,kind of like a strong protein boost for the plants and they do respond, thats how you know .
