What do you have growing on your balcony?

Hi Everyone,
I have a real passion for my balcony, If I could i would utilize every space I would, with much raised eyebrows from the neighbors who really dont give a shit about theirs hahaha. We have really warm summers here in Switzerland and really cold winters, so its always a pleasure to prepare and watch my balcony grow. Im a sucker for herbs, and small fruit trees; love the aromatic scents they all give off, and try to throw some flowers in there to attract the bees; love collecting the fruit when ripe; what do you grow? What are your favorite herbs, fruits or flowers and what do you use them in? Tomatoes, Peppers, Onions, Kale, Swiss Chard, Lettuces, Broccoli, Spinach, Asparagus, Passion Fruit, Cucumbers and Celery.

I'm sure your neighbors are just in awe of what can be done with that space! I am sure you are helping to encourage them to work on their own gardens!!

HAHA...thanks keysareme, my neighbours still havent done nothing; in fact they are probably thinking that weird modified guy next door is a bloody hippy; I suppose in a way I am though lol...

I also planted some garlic and sping onions in with the tomatoes; they seem to be getting along and all really growing now; I am at the moment away for a week, and with thanks to a nice neighbor they are taking care of all my babies, miss pottering around out there though, although I am expecting to get back to a jungle ...hahaha

Absolutely love your balcony! I have a couple strawberries, mostly succulents, and a few flowers, sweet potatoe vine, asparagus fern. I definitely take pride in my 'kick it' spot as well. ATB!
