What do yal think?

This is a question more or less about lighting, I just got my AK48 and Afghan seeds from Nirvana and am planning on getting a 400w HPS/MH lamp this week. Will the 400w be plenty to start 6 seeds in 8 inch pots, then move the females to 18gal rubber maid containers. I'm thinking about getting another 400w in a month when I have the money, starting some clones and then have 4 plants 2 under each 400w.

Should I be able to grow 4 fairly large plants under 2 400w lamps? I have only grown outside, this will be my first indoor grow so I'm not too knowledgeable about lights.

Uhmm I think 1 400 watt will be fine for 4 plants....If u still want more light get a 600 watt.

ya 1 400w for 4 plants would be fine. I would personally just get 1 600 instead of even getting 2 400s.

Well if I want a 600w I will have to wait another month to start I have enough cash for a 400w now, if 400w will gr0w 4 plants then im gtg prolly will get another 400 anyway more light never hurt.

If you are going to do 2-400s you may as well do 1-1000w. Those new enhanced spectrum set-ups are way cool. They use 1-600w hps and 1-400w mh.
