What do root aphids/aphids do to the plant

Hi all, I'm battling some plant problems and am not sure if my new case of aphids is the culprit or just another problem popping up. Can anyone post up a pic of what a plant looks like that has a problem with root aphids? I have an aphid infestation in my grow room and a problem with the growth of a few plants. The growth problem popped up a couple months ago whereas the aphid infestation was just noticed yesterday. I can not examine the roots of the plants as they are in a soil scrog, so I really need to figure out if aphids are my issue or if they are just another issue. Any pics would be helpful. Don't need to see roots or bugs, just what the actual plant looks like. Thanks!

it will resemble a cal/mag def, leaves will yellow for apparently no reason, if I were you I'd get a handle on that real quick, if it's RA they're pretty hard on a plant.

take a potato, cut in half place on soil cut side down. in 12 hours or less check your potato with a scope. you will see any bugs you have in the soil on the potato. aphids, start eating the roots. which shows up first as lower leaves yellowing. cal mag defficiency shows up too. if you start seeing this and are providing adaqueate nutrients, inspect the pots. look at the drainage holes or rim or stem of plants. if you are seeing flyers, you are infested and need chemicals or tear down and start over. hope this helps. your finished product will not be dense, but light fluffy airy buds. yields will be about 50-75% of normal.

I did a couple rotations with pyganic and azamax and got rid of them. I spray with an airless paint sprayer so I do make sure things are covered well. also did pyganic and azamax soil drench before spraying, the pyganic in the soil with flush the little fuckers out and then I hit them with the airless.
