what do i do with powdery mildew??

my plants are now about 2 1/2 weeks old and they have a powdery mildew on them and a friend suggested to heat the room to about 100 degrees but im scared to do that because they might kill the plants. what do you guys think is that a good suggestion or is there a better way?

You can mist with one part milk/nine parts water. Some add baking soda to the mix. This works well.

Spectracide from Home Depot will completely eliminate the mildew from the plants. I had it get into my veg room and my flower room. I treated all of my plants with it and then cleaned the rooms top to bottom with blech to kill any spores on the floors and walls. I didn't see anymore powdery mildew on my plants but I did a second treatment for good measure. It is a chemical pesticide but if you use it early on in the plants life cycle you will not have any problems.
