I saw this little guy hanging out on the main stem of one of my plants. When I went to kill it, I missed the first time and it didn't move or try to fly away. It just shifted over a little bit. Leafhopper maybe? I had one a couple weeks ago that ruined a couple of my leaves but it was green. This appears to be a brownish color with some spotted type wings. I haven't noticed any other pests as I've been overprotective with my plants since the first pest problem. I apologize for the bad picture quality, this thing is really small. It doesn't look like fungus gnat or act like one as it wasn't buzzing around and the shape of this critter doesn't appear to have the shape of the dreaded gnat

Definitely a gnat of some sort. Keep a eye out for more and inspect the top of your soil for baby gnats crawling around if you’re worried about fungus gnats. Neem oil your plant and top of your medium also as a preemptive strike in my opinion
