i noticed a couple of these little bastards today on my plants. i have 5 plants (babies)and found 3 bugs. then i checked them out later and found no bugs on the plants, but about 20 bugs on the wall. they are about the size of a grain of sand, there are brownish/red, and when you kill them on a white wall they look like little pieces of shit smeared on the wall, literally ( not that i smear shit on walls but, i could imagine). spidermites? they all seem to be where the light is reflecting off the wall. not in the shade. they all seem to be climbing up, and they are pretty slow.

Sounds like spider mites to me. I hate those things.
Good thing is you may have caught them before the have layed eggs under the leaf.

The dam bug only lives for a couple weeks but each one can lay hundreds of eggs.
Then they suck the life out of your plant. I would dip the kids in the soluition of your choice ( I think Neem oil is the best) that will kill the mites that are there but you need to spray the plants with water after a few days then give them another treatment in two weeks. That will kill any juveniles before they can lay aeggs and that should do it.

Oh and mash them to shit when ever you can.

Good luck.
