What are these worm like larvae. My guess is fungus gnats.

just checked on some seeds that never popped. I have a known about fungus gnat problem. When I wasn't living here I had a bunch of pots full of dirt where I guess they made there home at. My guess is it's fungus gnat larvae but was just curious cuz I really have no idea.

I have had plenty of fungus gnats over the years, I have never seen anything like that in my soil though.
Maybe I havent looked hard enough, but my first inclination is that those are not fungus gnat.
Ok I know these are clearly not adult gnats. Fungus gnats don't hurt your plants but their larvae will. This is certainly some type of larvae. I just don't know what kind. I'm trying to find out if maybe a new type of pest is on my hands or if these r baby fungus gnats. That will damage my plants. The seeds have clearly been fed on by these pests

Yup I just noticed a black head. Some where too small to see. What should I do just flush all the plugs with them in the toilet. What about my bigger plants they might have them too. But the soil is constantly moist like the plugs inside a dome. I am using gnat nix which feels like it it just be perlite to me. But it's a top dressing that doesn't absorb anymoisture, same idea as using sand. Is gnat nix enou or should I get something else. These plants show no signs of stress at the moment. The are actually doing super but I want to keep it that way. Young plants in about 1 gallon pots or maybe smaller. Using soilless medium vermipro
