What are these nodes?

I found these nodes on my White Widow Auto today. It has gone into preflower about a week or so ago. Note that in the 3rd pic there are pistils coming out of it. There were a few others but I removed them. Any replies are welcome.

Get a whole bunch of those in a clump and we call it a bud! Bunch of buds together is a cola.

When those little buggers dry out pick them off and put them in a pipe for a good hit while waiting to chop.

Yer shitting me right?
No. Those are individual female flowers that when in a bunch on a branch make up the buds. Every bit as good as the buds themselves.

You really are a nOOb aren't you. That's OK. You'll get over it after a few grows. Wait 'til you've been doing it for 40 years. :)

Not completely Noob. I grew the last 2 years but I do not remember seeing that on my other plants. First time with auto's but not sure that would make a difference. Thanks for the reply

I'd be surprised not to see them. They are usually mature long before the buds are and a dozen of them in the pipe makes a good hit and shows you what is coming up pretty accurately.

I didn't mean anything rude with the nOOb reference so hope I didn't offend.

Geez I thought I replied to this a day ago. Guess I typed it and forgot to post it. Anyway I thought about it and I know now that I have seen them but at the time I thought that they were seed pods that did not get pollenated. As for being offended I should have used a better expression than "yer shitting me right?". If anyone should have been offended it was you sorry about that. I am seeing a lot of them now.
