yur gonna want the mogul socket with the hooks on em...thats how you hang em verticaly

you can get those at any grow shop or website , anywere from $15-30

yeah they have a cord and a piggyback plaug that goes to the ballast

the ones you want have two lil rings on the back of the socket and a triangle bar that you hang it from.....if you want i can take a pic of mine

heres what the back looks like with the lil hooks....i took the triangle bar off mine cuz i use a batwing ...the purpose of the hook and hanger is to take all the stress off the cord so it has a lil slack, should be no whieght hanging off the actual socket

heres what the rest of it looks like....mine is a 12ft but as you can see i only need like 2 ft lol.....the rest is jus coiled up and you can see the fat piggyback plug were it connects to the ballast...thisone cost a lil over 40 bux but its pretty heavy duty...make sure you get the right connector to the ballast, there is two dif kinds , one of those is more common but some people sell the other type as well.

ha. srry. i am talking about CFL's. Trying to hang my CFl's straight upside down.
lol jeeeeeeezuz h ...... i think you can get those in a normal socket to with the hangers......hmmmm, maybe try looking at those work lamps...they hang those from cielings on jobsites and they only come with a normal socket.....ya know those ones that have the metal or plastic cage around the bulb? those are meant to be hung and im pretty sure ther cheap

no probs..if yur jus using a cfl, thne you shold be ok with hanging it off any socket, as long as it isnt on eof the 125w or 250s, those are big as fuck lol

Someone made a guide here to DIY these easily. Just get the regular sockets (they come in lamp kits cheap) already wired up and get some wire hangers then just bend the hanger around the socket and hook to whatever you need. Not sure if this is what you're looking for but hope it helps.
