i am looking at ordering new seeds for my next grow, but i would like a very stable strain to grow.
my last grow was NL from nirvana and i have 4 different phenos out of the 7 females, and i was very dissappointed.
any good suggestions for any good stable 8-9 week flowering strains?? i am going for good lookin buds, i dont really smoke, so the high doesnt matter as much as the appearance ;)

thank you

Stability is somewhat of a myth. You are going to come across strains that have more similar progency than others but all in all there is no sure fire strains that are perfectly uniform. People go through thousands of seeds looking for that special plant, it's just how genetics work.

ya i dont think any strain is always exactly the same. but i would like more stability then my NL (2 finished in 8 weeks, 3 finished in 10 weeks, and the other 2 are still going (at 12 weeks right now).
and all the buds are way way different. kind of a piss off.
im guna try sannie seeds i think

I've found Serious Seeds AK47 to be fairly uniform and an excellent all around strain. There is a little phenotype variation, but they're all about the same flower time. Some look more sativa, some more indica, but not huge difference in size.

Another one I've had good luck with is TGA's Vortex. More size variation, but still consistant at 8 weeks.

That said, if you're really serious about growing consistent crops, you will have to clone.

i grew mandala's satori and out of 7 plants i saw only 3 distinguishable phenos. really just 2 plus one long stretchy one that turned out male. that strain probably doesn't have the bag appeal you want but i would ask around about some of their other strains. their stuff gets rave reviews and their website claims appear to be generally true, and their prices are scary cheap for the genetics you get. i also grew grenhouse's super lemon haze last year and could only distinguish 1 pheno, but only 3 plants came up. could have had something to do with the seeds being femmed. femmed seeds are a lot like clones in that they often only have genes from 1 plant. i wouldn't exactly refer to them as "stable" though.
