What are SOG and SCROG?

Title says all.

If I am right, SOG stands for Sea Of Green, and it is when you have plants maturing (indoor) at different stages, so you can have an harvest at each stage.
Correct?

And what about SCROG? Can anyone explain, or point out a reference?

Thanks!

Scrog uses a screen to control height - larger plants are allowed to fill a screen before flowering - then the buds grow through the screen.

Sog is an even canopy (sea of green), but usually refers to many single cola clones grown out quickly.

scrog is pretty much the same thing but your using a screen so the tops of the plants can grow through. Thus giving you a even canopy of buds. scrog is so you can mainly harvest tops. you can fim, top, prune your plants to grow this way there is alot about it in the gro faq's.

The only thing the same about SOG and SCROG are the letters S, O, and G....and that they are 2 totally different techniques for growing marijuana. Do more research before giving bad info.
