What Americans Really Think About ISIS

Interesting results..
You should watch Watters World on O'Reilly... You find out a lot about what Americans think. Usually clueless college Americans or liberal Americans... Very amusing, not very scientific. But your standards are so much lower than mine in the science category :]

Could you also tell us what Americans think about prosciutto? How about the Detroit Lions chances of making it in the playoffs?

I wasn't aware there was any subject that Americans think the same on.

Americans are a stupid bunch and I fear them mightily.

Wouldn't you say that about people in general and not just Americans?

When I was told I could no longer play online poker legally in the US, my illusions of freedom were squashed. "Click your mouse, lose your house". The Moral Majority and the PC crowd compete on regular basis for the stupidity crown.

I'll never understand collectivism, I'm just not wired that way. Can anyone explain the virtues of group think?

I (and the producers of that clip) didn't deem it necessary to explicitly add in the "general" preface. That kinda goes with the title..

Point is, older Americans think using the same playbook as we've always used is the right way to go, younger Americans think we should probably take a more pragmatic approach to Middle Eastern affairs if we want to avoid perpetual war in the future

lol.

says the guy who thinks forest fires cool the globe.
His new "I KNOW SCIENCE BETTER THAN YOU!" stance is quite cute..

This has been true since the beginning of the USA.

I'll respectfully disagree with you and the author then. What I've noticed is for the most part it's a team sport. If you like blue, you like war during blue years and not red, if you like red, well, if you like red, war seems to be the answer...

Want proof? read the old thread here from last year's line in the sand debacle. Whatever Gore/Obama said is what the fanboys said we should do, even when it changed every other day.

Do a poll right now of Obama supporters and they will tell you Iraq was wrong when Bush did it, but now we hafta.... cause boosh, but the other 7 countries Obama has dropped bombs in are justified.

What would be the explanation for this outcome?

First.. props for using reason tv

second, wouldn't that fall in line with mainstream media's influence on people?

It matches my stance pretty well too. The red voters are for war, the blue are only for it when their guy is in. Obama's poll numbers are pretty shitty, but those that are left hanging on the nuts, are all about war now too.

AMERICANS ARE MORE STUPIDER.When the American congress chose and the people allowed, on line poker to be outlawed by a vote on port security, they proved to be dumb enough to be an easy mark for any pols. who were watching. Have played live and on line poker against Americans and Europeans.I find the Europeans a little tougher. Can't see collective thinking either, but to get insights into its promoters and their thoughts, you might read Marx, Lenin, Hitler, or Mao. who could be the most enlightening since a case might be made for a collectivist regime in post WW ll China.
