I have grown indoor 4 times now and all 4 times the plants barely had smell to them. just wondering why this is. the finished product comes out good but no smell. right now i have the purps from bcbd they smelt when they were young under floros, they smelled up my entire room. Then I moved them into the attic they are at day 30 of 12&12 and no smell unless get real close to them or gentky squeze the bud. It just sucks because when I go up there I see beutiful plants but don't smell a damn thing. Any tips or advice Please.:wall:

there mite be more room up there for the plants to breath i put 3 in my closet in my room and in the morning the room stinks. i think it mite be a bit airey in your atic and thats why you cannot smell em i think. unless you have a new var. that dont smell whilst growing,if so your on to a winner if the finished product does the job.
what lites are you using and how many plants are you growing.and in what med.

Well, here is what I think...

It is the strain.. Some strains do not have a strong smell. This is the strains I buy.

But remember I have very little information.

Crazy-mental- I am using one 1,000watt hps. with four Purps plants in soil. Using flora nova for nutes. Lord dangly bits- I have grown 6 different strains and none of them have ever had smell to them, it's got to be something I'm doing just cant figure it out

dude you don't even have a planty smell? that's fked. check it, i've noticed that the smell of my plants is absent with they are pissed at me.... so like, some pics would be super cuz then someone can identify something like nute burn, heat stress, overwatering etc... also, what kind of ventilation do you have in your attic, what's the temp, and is it light proof? you shouldn't be able to see your plants in their dark period... no light greater than that of moonlight should be introduced to them at any time during their dark phase

What type of system you using to grow them with? What is the temp and humidity, what additives, what way are you drying and curing your buds?

Humidity and temp flucuates alot because they are in a non isulated attic. Ventilation is good just cant keep temp and humidity stable. I'm using soil with floranova and superthrive. The temp goes anywhere between 60-110 on hot days, and humidity 30-80. I guess this is my problem. I should probably work on stabalizing the attic.

Well this is the first time I think I've ever seen an indoor grower complaining about an absence of odor. Odor, while heavenly to a smoker, is one of the biggest issues when growing indoors, as it's a great way to attract unwanted attention to your grow.

I've been growing a nice indoor strain called Papaya which does well in small spaces as its generally short and bushy, and has very little odor, even being blown about with a fan. It has more odor after it's been dried and cured than it does while flowering. Quite the blessing for a stealth grower.

If the plants are doing well even with the wild swings in your growing environment, and the end result is a nice smoke with a great high, I think your odor "problem" is more like a blessing in disguise. bongsmilie
