WHAT? 6-Pointed Leaf on Seedling, Should be a node . . . predictions?

Here we have a couple of Pineapple Express (auto) seedlings, 12-days along & outdoors. As you can see in the picture, the one on the left is growing in a bizarre way (though is quite healthy looking) - instead of growing 2 sets of 3-pointed leaves and developing a new node from the stem it has formed a 6-pointed leaf and I'm having a hard time imagining how this is going to proceed to grow in any way I can predict (or if it will at all). On the right is it's sister plant (which is exceedingly normal). Ideas? Predictions? Anyone seen such a thing before? Savable? Not a problem?

I actually had this problem on my current grow. Blue critical Auto from Dinafem. The leaves didn't merge, instead the second node just wasn't there... I topped it as I had no choice and all is seeming well so far.
