Well, should I start flushing?

I'm growing Niravana's Blue Mystic and Papaya and they have been flowering for 39 days now. I know its pretty soon, but they are starting to show signs that they are gonna be ready soon.
I'm growing in soil and I was thinking about a week and a half of flushes.
So how long do you think I am from harvest time?

(next watering is 3 days from when the pictures were taken, so I can start flushing then)

I gave them more fertilizers than recommanded and kept the light (400w HPS) about 20cm from the tops during most of the grow. (lately the temepratures have rised and now the light is 35cm away. for the last week or so)
Wondering if it will change something.


So, how long until chopchop?



PS the 2 left plants are Arjans Haze #2 and Sugar Haze that have a few more weeks for sure.

i would wait a week or two then flush.. the hairs look green and trichs look clear.. flush when most of the trichs are cloudy with no water the last 2 days.

you can go 1.5 weeks watering around every 3 days. and add a little molasses, then just h2o the last time.

I'd say at least a couple of weeks..don't rush it, let em fatten up!!

They really do seem to fatten up in the last couple of days.
I took some taste samples from the bottom of one of them though...

I'll post some pictures next time I'll think of flushing to see if I got it right.

Gtreat photo of the trichs! and nice looking plants.

It all depends on what kind of high you want. A heady high, wait until most of your trichs are cloudy, if you prefer a more body high, wait until a lot of th trichs are amber.
I like a mix of cloudy and amber trichs, I'd say a week or 2.

Just clip some little buds off and let them dry a day or 2, and let it get "ripe".. I like my bannanas when the get a little brown on the outside, cause then you know there "ripe" and deliciously sweet.MMMmm, i love 'nannners...lol

how did you take thos cool pics of the trichs? what kind of camera?

I've picked out some lower buds to sample. But I'll just wait more with the main amount.
I will post some pictures today or tomorrow to check for your opinions again.

I was surprised it even worked, but it actually works really well, considering the price.

On that note, I use a cheapo PH meter off of eBay as well that works great. like thoes:

well, i thought I would update a bit and see how much long do you guys think I have.
I took a picture of the state of the room, a picture of a branch I suspect is close to be ready and some triches shots.

And the last shot is an experiment I'm having, trying to grow a Papaya in a 1oz glass.

start ur flush now...the smart thing to do is flush for 3-4 weeks cuz plants take 30days to use up all the reamaining energy sugars enzymes etc..and it will taste like cali cannabis club weed

ur plants still got a while to..lots of green in those leafs still which means lots of sugars left in em for bigger thc filled buds..do the 3-4week flush u wont be dissapointed

I've just watered them with a lot of nutrients (1ml AlgAMic, 2ml BioHeaven, 6ml TopMax, 6ml GuanoBloom) but from the next watering it will be clean water

thats coo just remember what i said on my first post about plants taking 3-4weeks to use up all it energy

I believe it will take a bit longer since I've been over fertilizing them and gave them clean water only once since week 2 of veg.

naw 3-4 weeks should be good..i could only flush my 5girls for 2weeks cuz of an emergency harvest but like to flush for 3weeks then let it dry up the last week then harvest so i usually start my flush a month before the harvest date...and when i feed em nutes i use just water and molasses after every two feedings

A quick update -
Buds go bigger.
They start stinking bad.
About 20% the trichs are cloudy.
About 2% the trichs are amber.

How long before I'll get really happy and kill thoes bastards?
