Well, I've done it!

Placed an order for some seeds that is! It's been a long time, probably 10 years or so since I've done that, ad about 6 since I've grown. After a good deal of research, as well as input from many of you here at RIU, I paced my order with SOS. I've got 5 Fem Ice Bomb along with 5 Fem Cloud #9 from Dinafem along with the SOS freebies on the way. I'll try to relate my experience with SOS here, but to date, pms with fellow RIU member EM have given me a great feeling about them.
As to the strains I've chosen, I am simply very intrigued by Bomb genetics. I've seen a couple great grow reports on Berry Bomb, but I wanted to go a little different direction. THe Cloud #9 seemed another interesting choice. A medium flowering time, medium height Sativa dominant strain. I'm really looking forward to growing out both strains.
As to the grow itself, I'm planning on going with soil, likely an amended FFOF mix under a 400 W HPS. (might startr seed under some CFLs in Light Warrior). My space will be 4x4x6.
If anyone has had experience with either of these strains, I would certainly appreciate your feedback. I feel like such a newbie after so long out of the hobby.

Just wanted to provide a quick update. The order took 22 days overall. I mailed payment to SOS on 2 Feb,. It took 11 days for it to reach them, which I'll chalk up to inefficiencies on the part of the USPS. It did seem to take a bit for SOS to process the order, about a week. When I did receive confirmation, it appeared that my Cloud ( had been replaced by another 5 Ice Bomb, and there was no mention of the freebies. The package was mailed out of England on 23 Feb. Tl the credit of the Royal Mail, it was in NY the next day. It apparently passed through customs w/o a hitch. It passed to the Jamaica NY sorting facility and then onto NE (gr)Ohio where it was delivered today. It was clear upon inspection that the Cloud 9 were there, and the seeds were markedly different than the Ice Bomb. All the ones I looked at appeared to be mature, viable seeds. I look forward to getting them into soil, though that will likely be awhile as an extended overseas vacation is in the works for the first half of April.
The stealth from SOS was good, though perhaps a bit dated.it seems that a similar method was in use years ago when I ordered from SSSC, but hey, it made it. My communications with SOS rep EM here at RIU was greatly beneficial. In summation, I will surely order from them again. Hope to journal my grow when I get it under way.
