Check out the threads on "party cup grows" or "PC cabs" these folk's resourcefulness and simplicity is inspiring. I started small with an overhead fluorescent light fixture and some bag seeds in styrofoam sonic cups. but growing is addictive and as I went along I kept adding to it and getting better at it (and spending more money happily on it). But no big deal, gardening isn't for everyone. Great skills to have though, ask your grandparents.

It's only complicated if you make it.

Let's look at what it takes to grow a marijuana plant.

1. Put seed(s) In soil
2. Water when needed
3. Sufficient sunlight to servive

that's really all you need.

Taking a shower and shaving is more of a hassle that growing a plant or two. Even if you run into problems with the grow, why would you quit that easily?

Maybe you don't like ganga as much as the rest of us. A little work can give some nice rewards.

Why are you wining?

There is a shit ton of info here. Like everybody said, though, keep it simple and build on it. But, if the bottom line is that all you want to do is get high and don't care what you smoke, will always be easiest just to buy it.

1. get decent seeds femminized
2. put em in between to damp (not wet damp) pieces of kitchen roll then put the kitchen roll between two plates and leave in a dark cool place for 24/48 hours
3. get decent soil canna pro plus is what use
4. fill a 10 ltr pot up with the soil, make a hole in the middle with a pen about as deep as your fingernail
5. when the seeds have start showing roots carefully place them in that hole you made in your soil sweep soil from the top over the hole gentley
6. go and get tap water and put a ph meter in it (it will prolly say between 7.5 to 8.0) put ph down in your water untill it says 6.5 or close to 6.5
7. softly pour water over the soil until a you see some coming out the bottem of the pot
8. turn your light on for 24 hours constant
9. check your plants daily and when the top soil dry out put your finger down the soil when a fair bit of the top soil is dry feed again
10. after about 2 weeks the plant will need feeding get your tap water in the same way but this time before you put ph down in put 4ml per litre of terra vega in (if you feed your plants 10 litres they need 40ml if you feed them 5 litres they need 20ml etc...)
11.do this for 2 weeks.
12.change the lights from 24 hours a day to 12
13 when you change lights at the same time change the vega you feed the plants to flores (flores is 5ml per litre)
14. over the next two weeks you will start seeing hairs on your plants and it will get alot taller
15. after two weeks the plant will stop getting taller and the hairs will turn into buds and start getting fatter
16. carry on feeding the same way for the next 5 weeks
17. after the five weeks your buds will have gotten fat and you will see quite a few red hairs now stop feeding your plants and give them plain tap water ph6.5 for the last two weeks give them double the water when you feed them (so loads of water comes out the bottem of the pot)
18. cut them down cut the plant at the bottem so you can lift the whole plant up. hang the whole plant upside down som where dark and cool with a good airflow
19. leave them there for a couple day check them bend a stem at firt they will bend really easily after a week they should nearly snap when the stems are close to snapping trim all the leaves off and you ready to smoke partner

and thats what new people need to understand, WE ALL were at that place once and we all have gotten better with each harvest.

It seems so overwhelming all the shit you have to do.

peace out
Don't let them weed barons piss in your ear.

It's a fucking PLANT. It ain't rocket surgery.

Seeds. Soil. Lights. Timer. Water. Fertilizer. Time.

Eventually.... Weed.

It's almost that simple!

I started growing on a whim and it became my sole hobby!
I spend every day on this forum and 90% of what I know I have learned here from the incredibly helpful user base!
I was given clones, a basic nutrient schedule and left with nothing but my wits to figure it out!
and you know what? against all odds I pulled it off. It was no great success, nothing to write home about, but I yielded over a half pound (cured) from 7 plants (which I was quite happy with!) and my first harvest paid for itself!
I have become so enthralled with the process and the incredibly creative individual techniques that the actual act of growing itself has outweighed the the payoff itself (ya right lol)
Trust me, its as challenging as you want it to be! and rewarding!

it wouldnt be hard to uderstand though...because much people really has no interest in planting, specially guys...i myself did not know that planting will be a passion, i mean i was not overwhelmed with surprise since i did a little planting a few times just for the sake of it that i was bored. i got 5 lemon tree, 1 orange tree before even went on this process of cultivating...u know what im talking about. but seriously, ive got so much to learn and that it opened my other perspective that i can even apply in real life. this was actually the 2nd most expensive hobby that i came with, the first into dj'ing spent about 6k on it...dont even have time for that anymore since i found a hobby that took most of my time just looking at them and spending time on the forum getting more information.
