hi smokey! your girls look very delicious and super healthy. im so happy you stopped by my journal to wish me a warm welcome back after my trip. that was super nice of you!
you have a lovely journal here!
It was such a pleasant surprise to open your journal to see you have the same type of tent that i have!.( i have a SJ DR120 tent!!!!which one do you have?) and then to see you have 2 tents, right? lol..so freakin crazy because
i am presently getting ready to purchase another DR 120 tent and am thinking about how i can utilize my equipment efficently for both tents.. like sharing my 4 inch inline out take fan and my 6 in inline exhaust fan.
Is this what you do with your set-up?
brilliant gardening dude!
cheers

I'm exhausting the dr 120 with a 400 cfm inline duct fan. I'm not too sure what I'd do if I had two of them connected via ducting, my veg tent is smaller and is on the other side of the room. the small one is 4x2x5.

I setup a new router for the internet today. It's badass. My old one was so crappy but just good enough that I would never replace it. I'm flying with this new router. I got online and downloaded around 20 albums in minutes. I also got my new I-Phone 4. Like I said before, that old one needed to be replaced really bad. This new one is pretty awesome and way faster. Pretty productive day outside of the Jardin, what can I say :)

Today marks a new chapter in my life. I am officially going to watch what I eat again. On my new I-Phone I have this app that monitors food intake, as long as I keep it under 2,300 calories a day I can go from 220 lbs to 200lbs by the end of the year. Last summer I was working out a lot and I got kinda cut but then winter came around. This time I would like to progressively lose the weight, begin working out routinely, and get back into the shape I was.

Thats a great goal smokey, good luck to you. just try to stay focused and you can do it.
Im also going to try to work out more. Im trying to run 5 miles everyother day and lift more. The cooler weather is awesome to run in. It felt so good the other day, it makes it so much easier than battleing overheating with the warm weather. Do you run? I have found its really the optimal way to lose weight, especially abdominal weight, it naturally cuts your oblique abd muscles..melts it away.
Have a good day smokeybro.

I hate running lol but it must be done. My city is really bike friendly so I like to bike!! But you're absolutely correct, running is the optimal way to lose abdominal weight. And this time of year the weather is perfect almost everywhere you go :)

Calyx's are beginning to take shape and become visible, they're beginning to swell. Today is day 47 of flowering. The plants have been getting 12.5 hours of darkness per day for the last 3 weeks or so. Things are looking really nice, and they all smell really strong. Both the OGK and Chocolope are predominantly sativa whereas Chernobyl is a 60/40 mix. Tomorrow I'll be watering with nutrients.. I'll probably peak the nutes out tomorrow at 1,300 ppm to really maximize bud development. On saturday i'll water with molasses, which would be day 50* of flower. I'll know whether to keep on feeding strong or not based on how the plants respond by... Sunday. The Chernobyl is definitely going to be the first one to finish. It's leaves are also beginning to turn purple but I think thats more due to temps rather than genetics. When the light is off it gets down to the lower 60's at night. The chernobyl buds are looking farther in development than the other plants. It's pretty obvious the OGK will probably take the longest, I believe it took my friend 11 weeks before he cut it down. The chocolope's odor is getting stronger by the day, or so it seems. I'll keep everyone posted on what's going on and i'll probably get some pics up tonight.

I went ahead and watered the ladies today, I usually do it every other day. When I went to lift them to grab the saucer underneath to wash they felt really light. I gave each of them 1/3 gallon of water. the jug had 5 ml of cal mag in it. By the looks of it this Chernobyl should be done in about 10-14 days, maybe a tad bit longer.

I need to be doing the same thing myself. I think I'm going to the gym today to do the elliptical. I would run but I'm just recovering from a pulled muscle in my back that was pinching my sciatic nerve that I dealt with for a month. I've still got a little back pain but at this point I think stretching, exercising, and losing some pounds will help the situation. I just hope i don't reinjure my back so I will be going easy at first. I can't use our type of "medicine" for about 2 weeks. (I'm getting a new job, and I'm just waiting for that call to come in and say you have 24 hours to go pee in a cup) It would be so much easier if it was legalized for medical use, but the state that I live in will be the last to go that route.

And of course, great journal bro. I'm looking forward to see how harvest goes and what you yield, and I love the picture of Dwight from the Office. IMO one of the funniest shows made.

I watered the plants today. The formula consisted of :
15 ml big bloom
10 ml tiger bloom
5 ml cal mag
15 ml ph up
PH - 6.3, PPM 1,060.

The buds are really starting to pack on the weight. Tomorrow is 7 weeks of flower. I cannot believe how fast time flies. The branches need to be held up cause the buds are so big. :) Everything smells so good, it's hard to put into words how strong the odor is.

yesterday was a good first day of my diet. I stayed about 500 calories under my target goal without being hungry. It's time to medicate 8)
